I’m gettin real tired of people betraying thier own team mates and NOT getting a notification to boot them, it happens alot! the same person betrayed my twice, and I couldn’t boot them. This has to be fixed becuase morons act like they can only play Halo if they get the rockets or sniper! What right do they have to be entitled to any weapon…its just really irritating.
Not much we can do about it now… all we CAN do is submit a bad player review, and hopefully never play with them again.

The situation gets worse when you accidentally betray someone via stray Wraith shot, and you get booted immediately. Even when your betrayal rate is very very low, like at none!
Someone screwed up on the system.
You need to learn the art of drawing the betrayal with a boot. There is always the old run after them and shoot their shield down right before they enter into combat. But have you heard about standing in front of power weapons and vehicles? But wait there is more! Simply smack them on the back of the head and T-bag the ground when they look at you for hilarious results =)
Try not to let it get to you, there are jerks everywhere in life and Halo is no exception.

You’re telling me, I was betrayed twice and my sister twice (same console)by 1 guy and no option. I finally retaliate and give him it back and boom I’m kicked, it’s ridiculous. From now on though, I just constantly shoot at them to throw their game off and as soon as a enemy does damage I finish them ;). Teach them lol

Wow what a post. Congrats, so you mean to tell us all the time, when you play. You fill the entire lobby for your team? 4 players usual, or is it just 8 players all the time in big team? Come on, be realistic.

Dont worry, i only do it to people who are betraying.
Yeah I did it today with blast damage when I was taking down some camper. I got one of my team mates unintentionally. It also happen to me my first game today. But then again I do not think many stay out of their team mates line of fire. And that may be the main cause of a lot of this; lack of team work. If this happens to you online just tap them on their helmet next time you run into them maybe that will put them to a halt. But some of the players I see are poor sports so giving them back what they give will probably open their eyes. Maybe you should try playing with friends more, Just a thought. See you online.
Maybe if there was a real ranking system that meant something and that people actually went for wins, then we wouldn’t see so many betrayals.

No one cares about the team anymore. It’s probably the worst part about Halo… the majority of it’s community 
This is true…teamwork is truly missing… i play with about 2 close friends and what matters is we win, not who got the most kills…who got the sniper or rockets… people are just dumb and think they are the best at every weapon, and therefore deserve it.

I sincerely miss those days of ranked Team Objective or even BTB when wins were so precious. Now a days in those playlists its just full party k/d boosting.

Really hoping that Halo 4 helps with issues like these, be more harsh on betraying and make an incentive to want to win.

Ya Teamwork is severely lacking across most playlists. It’s unfortunate and I’m not sure why it’s disappeared. Well, obvious because people only care about KD. Actually had a guy tell me I play halo all day blah blah - have no life. And his argument was I’m 70,000 more kills positive than your 15,000 positive. lol, like really? Think about what you just said (my total kills don’t even reach 70k).
Suffice to say he was killed by myself and friends all game

It’s sad, I think that Halo Reach is the worst Halo ever maked (for Multiplayer).
The Halo 3’s system, based on exp, without credits, gave an incentive to win and to play in team, it was better.
I hope Halo 4 will be better and that it will give you some incentive to win and to play in team.
Also there should also be (along the xp for wins), some personal extra points (not xp for winning the game): like, if I kill you with an headshot I should gain more xp than another player that kills one gamer without style, also for assassinations, and so on for other medals.

I am hoping (after reading into H4 a little bit, sounds like there doing each load out in a progression system. reminds me of bf3 a lot if I gathered it right) but I’m hoping if that is the case, getting more unlockables and progressing is based on wins! Not kills etc. That would solve the problem right there.
I JUST GET HOME FROM WORK TODAY THE MRS IS OUT GETTING SOME SORT OF TAN DONE SO I’M THINKING HAPPY DAYS I’LL GET COUPLE OF HOURS FREE TIME PLAYING MY FAVORITE GAME BUT WHAT HAPPENS SPENT TWO HOURS GETTING BETRAYED IN EVERY GAME.
ONE REALLY BAD GAME WAS PLAYING GRIFBALL TWO THAT WERE ON SAME TEAM SPOKE AND ASKED THE OTHER TEAM TO LET THEM BETRAY!!!
RIGHT ENOUGH OTHER TEAM STOOD BY WHILE MY OWN TEAM MATES SPENT 5 MINUTES BETRAYING TWO OF US NO INTREST IN PLAYING THE GAME.
HAD TO QUIT THE GAME SO GUESS WHAT 343 WELL RECORD THAT AS ME QUITING THE GAME PROB PUNISH ME IN SOME WAY FOR QUITTING WHILE THE ONES THAT HAD NO INTREST PLAYING GET AWAY!!!
