They don’t even need to make there own models. 343 could use armors such as; honor guard armor, elite counselor, half jaw, honor guard counselor, and arbiter. These would be a welcome addition.

More Elite armors to use? Hell yeah.
I dont play Halo 2 MP (mainly because of the melee) much but having more options is always nice
Not to mention it could easily have backports of Halo 3’s OG gear, I’d love to see the Assault helmet in Halo 2, also Halo CE’s alternate spade shaped. helmet for majors and minors.
Even when there was the Elite season, I saw a disappointingly low number of elites in matchmaking.
I want the Honor Guard armor as much as anyone but admittedly it may be low popularity.
Even when there was an elite season, 75% of the stuff in it wasn’t even for the elites, they have less than half the level of customizability Spartans do in almost every game.
Not only that, the armor we did get for the Elites is still missing the proper waist piece on the leg sets from Halo Online, since they didn’t port the storage set Cleric over like they did Soldier for the Spartans.
Would be nice if H2 could receive a slight overhaul to player customization for both Spartans and Elites, even if it is just swapping whole models instead of segmented portions like H3 onwards.
Spartans:
- “MkVI”: generic H2 Spartan model
- “Classic/MkV”: imported H1 Spartan model
- “ODST”: scaled-up H2 ODST model applied to the Spartan biped
Elites:
- “Combat”: generic Sangheili harness
- “Honor Guard”
- “Councilor”
- “Helios”: the Honor Guard Councilor model
- “Arbiter”: obvious
- “Heretic”: generic Heretic Elite harness
- “Apostate”: generic Heretic Major harness
- “Blasphemer”: Heretic Leader harness
OTOH, I’m starting to think playable Elites ought to be completely removed from H2/H3 MP, bridging more consistency with H1 and the 343i-era titles. Competitive portions of the greater Halo community appear to state concurrent sentiments in regards to playable Elites in MP.
Any freed-up file space could then potentially be reused to port in additional Spartan armor from HOnline, or add for Reach players the capability to do modular customization of MP Elite armor.

I’ve noticed 343 doesn’t put much effort in the elites in mcc the halo 2 anniversary models still can’t customize they’re armor like the Spartans can and then there’s that eye glitch no ones fixed in years lol while I am glad they added armor for the elites they still pale in comparison to Spartan customization
