I love to play team snipers but it gets pretty boring when there are only a few maps that are played. Uncaged, hemorrhage, boardwalk, reflection, and powerhouse. There are so many other maps that you could put in that playlist that would be a good sniper map and maybe even better. There might not be any other default maps that are good, but add some forge world maps or dlc. IMO: Pinnacle, Asylum, and etc. I see that there is DLC in the playlist maps but i never see them come up. EVER!

Spire and other BTB maps are fun with Snipers.

They don’t have Asylum in the Snipers playlist because of the massive amounts of framedrop that occurs on that map, otherwise it would be in there.
Blame the makers of Reach, who thought it would be a good idea to try to make the game as pretty as possible and horribly botched the game experience.

…I agree. Not that I would play snipers excessively, (I myself don’t have Noble) but that adding DLC as a requirement would be the best thing you can do for the playlist.
It’s team snipers after all, the one playlist most supremely dedicated to hardcore headshotting that you can expect people to want to invest a little more into the game. They’ve already invested so much to becoming proficient at the ranges and to the degree of accuracy that T-Snipes demands, so this is not as much of a leap as, say, DLC restricting a Rocket Hog playlist.
And furthermore, the shipping maps are almost universally terrible for snipers. The only maps that might be decent enough for the gametype are the larger ones in the DLC packs, any of them in fact with Headlong potentially serving as the star of the show, here. For the sake of those that do play, and have thus far been subjected to terrible gameplay (for snipers) because of the terrible map choice, there needs to be almost exclusive use of DLC in order that it might do some good where it is most sorely needed.
And please, for the love of God, 343, change spawns on Hemorrhage for Snipers entirely, because it’s incredibly one-sided, handing guaranteed wins for the red-team, just as Pinnacle did.

Actually, I prefer to be Blue because you have better sight lines. Odd, but my team has dominated many times as Blue.
Sidenote: Hey 343i, please take off the Pistol in Snipers? It’s just a crutch for lesser players, just as how Sage Merrill came up with the idea of Armor Lock for players similar to his skill, e.g., no skill.

Hahahahaaha, you shouldn’t assume anything like that. I’ve probably played 30 games on Hemorrhage, dominating from both sides. A team of four similarly skilled Blue players in Team Snipers on Hemorrhage can defeat any team.

If only that were true.
From my vast experience with the playlist, it’s an irrefutable fact that Red-side is superior to blue-side on Hemorrhage.
On blue-side, the spawn-groups are all within open-space, granting very constricting and limited space to work with, which practically eliminates any form of set-up after being killed. For starters, with only back-trees, shotgun rocks and back tele being the only groups with any form of cover and even then, the routes from said spawn-groups are easily predictable and legible.
One competent red player is all it takes to successfully hold down the entire blue-side. I’ve got hundreds of videos that prove this, from not only myself, but from my peers who I play Snipes with.
Lets just say its better to be red than blue. You can still win as blue but two good teams head to head the red team will most likely win.

While Uncaged is a great map for Snipers, I definitely agree.
Alright, I’m going to answer a couple things in here…

Red spawn hemorrhage >>> Blue spawn hemorrhage and its not even close. Everybody agrees that to control hemorrhage, you need to be at red teleporter and since they go out it easily…well there you go. 2nd of all, there are SO many out in the open spawns on blue spawn its not even funny (Beach, Shotty cuts, shotty flat rock, top of base, bottom ridge) all that have somebody looking at them. Even blue teleporter spawn is horrible as they still spawn out in the open. Their best spawn is probably the red teleporter spawn (which is rare; and if you kill that one person, they won’t spawn there again)

DLC maps? No. I don’t want to play more Highlands or Tempest or whatever that snow map is. I recently played Ridgeline and its a god awful snipers map. Its too big for snipers to even be competitive (although it was something like 38-33). You shouldn’t have snipers games go 12 minutes and end 12 kills under the 50 kill mark. Also, not that snow map either (I don’t remember the name). If you’re going to add maps, add something that can be done easily. …WHICH IS NONE. Tempest is about the best DLC snipers map (sad isn’t it?)

Too much uncaged. However there are only 3 snipers maps. Reflection and Powerhouse are chosen once every …20 games…maybe.

Maps to add in? --At least countdown, zealot, and sanctuary. Not Asylum. Along with any Pit remake that you choose. After that…I don’t really care, nothing else will be chosen. Why can it be in shotty snipes in AS but it can’t be in snipers?

Pistol - Its part of the playlist, get used to it. Its the nades that piss me off more than the pistol. Have you ever done a 4v1 where 1 kid decides he wants the cR so he stays in all game? Its not fun to just sit there and snipe at him…its more fun to pistol him. Also if you get pistol headshot because a kid 2 pieces, think of it this way, there is no different than a double beatdown or a beatdown body shot. Either way. Its part of the playlist. If you don’t like it, well then always pick pro.

For me knowing this? 5000+ games in snipers.
I’d like to possibly see some Arena forge-maps thrown in the fray, too. Like Select; the Narrows-like map.
Highlands would be good to have for snipers and also this is just a idea get a game of snipers on breakpoint. When u think about it its really hte smallest invasion map and it has some great lomg and big open areas for sniping.
I refuse to play Hemmorage. They should throw in Select, that’d be sweet.
Hate all these forge maps with their grey color scheme though… =(
