More Skulls for Halo Infinite

Regarding new skull additions, I would say that there are some rules that need to be outlined for them:
They must be compatable with existing skulls and allow for future ones.
They must be able to be applied to difficulty like how all skulls are
They must be accessable to both Xbox and PC
There may be more rules that I have not thought of that should apply.

As suggestions for new skulls:
Pop - Every time a friendly, neutral or hostile AI is disintegrated by hardlight damage, they explode like a hardlight fusion coil.
Scales - Plasma damage is doubled on shields and halved of health, kinetic damage I’d halved of shieldes and doubled on health.
The Mains - Damage over time for shock weapons is increased.
Extremely Resilient - All hostile AI that normally do not have energy shields now do.
Ammo Unspecified - Ammunition cannot be replenished at ammo caches.
Malfunction - Players cannot summon weapons or vehicles at FOBs
Velocity - Vehicles have twice the speed and half the health.
Dopleganger - every hostile AI is doubled. “Things are getting out hand, now there are two of them!”

I might go with these names:

  • Supernova - Disintegration from hardlight weapons causes an explosion.
  • Shift- Shields take 50% damage from Kinetic and 200% damage from Plasma.
    Health takes 50% damage from Plasma and 200% damage from Kinetic.
  • Overload - Targets receive more shock damage with each shot that connects.
  • Ward - Enemies without shields now have them.
  • Empty - Ammo boxes are shut down.
  • Omelette - Weapons and vehicles can’t be summoned at FOBs.
  • Glass - Vehicles have 200% speed and 50% health.
  • Split - The amount of enemies is doubled.

Skulls I’d like to see are:

  • Pull - The Grappleshot pulls movable entities.
  • Collapse - Overheating a plasma weapon gives a chance of creating a black hole.

I like Overload, Empty and Omelette, yet I would personally stick with mine for the others. Especially Pop and Extremely Resilient. Just loving the Halo 2 reference in Extremely Resilient. Tho, I’m glad that you agree with me on the ideas themselves. I also like yours, possibly make it so if plasma overheats it instead spills hot plasma on you, inflicting the plasma Damage over Time that plasma coils give.

multiplayer skulls please - make the hud dissapearing bug a feature

I think “Extremely Resilient” might work better as part of the flavor text for the skull since it would be a long name, and “Scales” makes me think of protective layers before it makes me think of a weighing scale, but the other names are good.

I like the plasma spill idea, but I was thinking it would be fun to purposefully overheat your weapon to create a black hole and then toss it into a group of enemies before it creates one, and to see enemies accidentally create them while fighting.
That might still work with plasma spilling if it takes time to spill and creates a pool of it though.

Certain skulls might work in multiplayer.
Mythic - Give enemies more health.
Fog - No radar.
Blind - No HUD or weapon.
IWHBYD - Different AI and Spartan comments.
Black Eye - Only melee recharges shields.

Non-Canon: Enabling this skull turns the Master Chief into your multiplayer Spartan, and enables any equipped multiplayer cosmetics on weapons and vehicles. Disclaimer: Certain armor choices may cause visual fx to not line up exactly.
