Honestly, I’m really hoping for a reveal of a Precursor or more information on their race within Halo Infinite. Now I know that’s probably not gonna happen, but it’s fun to dream. What are your guys opinions on more Precursor information, or even an appearance?
I’m torn on this topic, because I want more lore, but I also enjoy the mystery of Halo. The Forerunner Trilogy was fantastic imo, but it did get rid of a lot of mystery surrounding the Halo universe. The Forerunners were this enigmatic race of unknown beings with unknown power. Now we know they were just another race of highly advanced beings.
So I kinda want the Precursors to remain enigmatic and mysterious.
Considering the Precursors have no true “physical form” and used avatars to interact with sentient life, you might get that appearance but in their flood form since Halo Infinite’s setting, Installaton 07 has alot of flood related history and it would be a shame to not even give them a mention. I once heard Halo Infinite will have alot of lore based details that gave the developers chills, and Frank O’Connor once mentioned his interest in a Precursor themed multiplayer map so maybe Halo Infinite may shed a little of that mystery.
