I was fine with the TU and the changes they made for people that wanted a new flavor to Reach. I don’t really prefer the changes myself. I still prefer playing “vanilla” Reach. Now it seems like I’m being forced to adhere to the new TU settings.
Last month they implemented TU game settings into Squad Slayer, Team Objective, and Multi-team. I was a little hurt that they changed Team Objective on me because I liked having my mix of 4v4 slayer (when switching to Team Slayer) and 4v4 objective. Since the update, I’ve lost all interest in Team Objective. I was just going to live with it and move on, but…
… Now another Halo Bulletin comes out and they’re announcing that they’re now going to add TU settings to The Arena, Big Team Battle and Double Team? I actually like The Arena (even though Bungie surrendered the rating system for a win/loss-only ranking system), but adding TU settings to it will just make it feel like crap to me. Not to mention BTB was becoming one of my new favorite playlists, but thanks to 343, that’s been shot to hell.
Is this the plan, 343 Industries? Gradually add TU settings to ALL playlists? You said you were going to leave vanilla Reach playlists for those players that like the game as it was originally intended. Why are you forcing these changes on players like myself? I never wanted these changes in the first place.
The TU will probably come to everything but team slayer. Even invasion will most likely one day have the TU.
I know it stinks if youre on that side of the fence but thats just my predictions.
343 thank you for giving me more reasons to play Halo 3 again. ._.
Whats the problem with TU? Specify your reason. The TU settings make this game more legit, more fun, and its the way this game shouldve been from the first place.(except no AAs wouldve been nice)

Reach was legit from the very beginning except Armor Lock. There’s no need to put a Super Magnum pistol or Damage traspassing the shield.
I hate the new player movement. You jump like 25% less height, movement feels slower. I also like having armor abilities.
The TU and 343 can go to hell, this is a Bungie game, you just broke it. I’m not playing this -Yoink- if you force me to go through the stupid TU only super-pros like. I’m so afraid for Halo 4…
You kidding me?! Now I can finally play Arena and Double Team and BTB properly! The movement speed and jump height still have to be modified, but I like the TU more. 85% Bloom is now more likely to favour a pacer than a spammer. AC isn’t as OP as it was and the same goes for AL.
I can finally play something other than Squad Battle now!
