Who thinks they should add rewards for beating individual campaigns in Halo MCC that would carry over into Halo 5. For example;
Halo CE- Mark V Alpha
Halo 2- Some Elite themed armour
Halo 3- An actual version of the Mark VI with proper colouring.
Halo 4- A kind of Promethean-Style armour.
Halo 3 ODST- A proper ODST armour
Any other armours that should be rewards for sticking with the MCC
I personally never cared for these cross game unlocks. I think they are just as bad as microtransactions, only instead of being gated behind a few bucks, it’s an entire game purchase.

Didn’t you say that you spent around $200 on microtransactions a while back?
MCC was only $60, and now I think it’s around $40.
Plus, with MCC, you get loads of content that you can keep and play offline.

I think they’re fantastic, since they’re a nice way to reward players who have been with the series for a while. Plus, it’s just cosmetics that doesn’t affect gameplay at all, so why would it matter if not everybody can get them?

I’d rather see rewards for having completed the original games, but I hear what you are saying. They might have difficulty tracking CE/2 due to the lack of achievements/account changes etc, but 3/ODST/Reach/4/Maybe wars would be an option.
I think the armors should be Legendary unlocks.
CE: Mark V (Gen 2) (Halo 4)
Halo 2: Mark VI (Classic) (Halo 2-3 style)
Halo 3: Combat Mjolnir (based on the Sangheili Combat armor) or EVA (Gen 1)
Halo 4: Mark VI (117) (Chief’s armor)
ODST: Rookie (based on Rookie’s armor with the backpack)
Wars 1: Mark IV (Alice) (her decal version with 130 on the chest)
Reach: Leader (a direct copy of Carter’s armor with the right attachments (base helm, commando chest and left shoulder) with the right chest design)
Wars 2: Mark IV (Jerome) (His black marked version seen in Wars 2)

nope, they wouldn’t, since OP was specifically talking about the MCC.
but back to topic, altough i doubt that 343i would add something like this late,
but it’d be a nice idea for the next halo game. like already pointed out, it doesn’t
affect gameplay in any way and it is a nice, little “challange” for veterans still playing the older games.

…Which are also part of the MCC and even part of the requirements for the scarred version of Mk. 6.

I consider them more flair or recognition for having played previous games. You aren’t required to buy it and at this point you can probably get the MCC for like $10-$15 if you actually look. That and once the servers go down I can still play the older games microtransactions are just kinda meh no matter how you put them.

I’m pretty sure he has defended the req system as well based off the free DLC argument and called me entitled for criticizing 343 over the fact that said DLC is mostly remixed maps and rehashed content.
They should have done this in addition to the Helioskrill that you get for beating each game on Legendary.

I did, that doesn’t mean I can’t compare the two.
The original waypoint app offered loads of content as well. Didn’t stop people from hating on it based on ridiculous milestones set across 7+ different games to unlock armor sets.
That’s what I want to avoid seeing again. I like playing a game for the game, not playing it to get something in a different game. It’s a cash grab tactic.

Which has nothing to do with what I said either time. There are already rewards for MCC, there are not rewards for the original games. If they are going to add more rewards than I would prefer they be for the people that beat CE/2 on the original Xbox, Beat 3/ODST/Reach/4 on the 360. Give the veterans some actual love as opposed to the MCC.
I think it would be awesome to get a super rare armor obtained by getting 6000/6000 chivos in mcc, at least make all that grinding reward something.
Plus would be VERY exclusive. Last I checked on true achievements I think only 200ish people had it. Then again last I checked was a few weeks after I did it so might be a lot higher now
