MORE MAPS! Community input needed

Hello,

I’m not going to ramble on I just want to make a suggestion and if enough of the community agrees then maybe 343 will think about it and possibly do it.

I had this thought a while back since 4 has a small amount of maps. Then I saw my idea in spartan ops just now. 343 reused a play area just by making it night instead of what it was durnig the campaign, day time. Such a quick change and it brought new life to the level.

Now, imagine complex during a snowstorm or haven having a clear sky and a bright full moon or adrift with a blue star instead of the yellow-orange one.

I imagine that this would not take too much to change the lighting, different sky-box etc. and we could instantly have double the maps or have them at least do a few of them to bolster the map list.

Opinions?

Complex in a snow storm would be amazing.

Yup. It doesn’t have to be a snow storm but you get the idea.

Love the idea. That would make Complex so much better for sure. It reminds me of ODST and the two levels at night. Found those were so much better. I do with an idea like this could be adapted to Forge. Im sure many gamers that are big Forgers would like to load a map but decide if its night or day. Adding weather would be icing on the cake

Weather effects would bring the screen lag already present to a whole new level of awful. Plus, as if the visibility wasn’t bad enough on certain maps we add snow, rain, and night? ;\

I used to love this idea, but just don’t think it would pan out well in Halo 4, sorry.

Ok, read my post. Don’t get hung up on the snow idea. It was one idea. Think night-day changes too.

Wouldnt be great to try in Halo 4 other than switching from day to night but with a new Xbox coming and Halo 5 being on that box, things like this im sure could be done

Even changing ragnarok to dusk where the sun is on the other side would be cool

I am not thinking of halo 4, but I think we need DLC Forge maps for H2A In the master chief collection.
