Hey all,
I’m trying to build up a personal collection of the halo books, and I’ve noticed from the few I already own that Bad Blood (for example) is bound in a very attractive matte-feeling full artwork while my Fall of Reach book is a more cheaper-feeling shiny smooth paperback with a large black heading that covers some of the surface area that I wish was reserved for the cover art like in the former.
I’m aware that other books that I don’t own either seem to follow the style of one of the two that I described above. My question is: Are there prettier versions of EVERY book such that I might be able to target purchasing those versions from now on? Or does each book only have one of the two versions?

343 Industries has worked with two different publishers, Tor and Gallery Books. The Gallery Books published Halo novels have that “nicer” cover whereas the Tor books have that smooth cover. Thus far, I’m not aware of plans to re-release the Tor novels in a GB-style format so you’ll have to make due.

> They’re pretty nice, ngl. I got mine at my local barnes and noble, but I think you can find them on Amazon as well now as long as you make sure the publisher is listed as Gallery. Highly recommend the re-published books.
I might have to check these out. All my OG Halo books are in mass-market paperback. FOR, The Flood, First Strike, Ghosts of Onyx, and Evolutions are all mass-market. Makes for a cheap snag, but they don’t look good on the shelf with the other books.

Great bus ride time wasters they were indeed. My Ghosts of Onyx copy has seen better days.
