With the upcoming Halo Infinite set to come out in 2021, is there still time for 343 Industries to reveal the next gameplay footage from the new Halo video game? Maybe they will reveal the next Halo Infinite gameplay footage after Halo 4 coming out on Steam?
I doubt they will be showing footage soon. I was expecting something during the November 9th event but word has it that it’s reserved for the Master Chief Collection’s optimization on the Xbox Series X. I’m confident we will get something before the game launches, whenever that might be.
While we don’t know exactly when we’ll see the next of Halo Infinite, there’s some ideas to throw out. Like Ken Static said, there’s a chance we’ll see something on Nov 9 or 10 because of Xbox’s event before the Series X launch. Other than that, there could be a reveal in The Game Awards on December 10th because of how not only large that event is but how important it is for Microsoft and other big names to show something. If I recall, the Xbox Series X was announced during the last Game Awards. What exactly Microsoft would have in store for the Game Awards after the launch of the Series X, I don’t know, but I would assume it’d be more focused on Xbox Studio games since there isn’t anything I can recall(other than maybe XCloud?) Microsoft has that they haven’t already shown.
That’s a whole bunch of speculation, but to be frank I’d expect something from Microsoft during the Game Awards too, particularly about games. Whatever it will be I couldn’t say.
After the backlash from their last presentation, I would say 343i aren’t in a hurry to reveal anything any time soon. Though if they were to reveal some more gameplay, a smart decision would be to show off the capabilities of Forge mode. What you can do, what objects can be placed, and what advance scripting there is.
