Once again Ready Up Live proves to me that Halo 5 will be a good game with more multiplayer footage, this time with no commentary. If you watch you can see that he doesn’t use the smart scope at all this match and he still pulls off a running riot. This also shows that ground pound may not always be fatal, and just generally fun gameplay.
Also a quick glimpse of assassinations at the very end.
Halo 5 is going to be amazing!

I 100% agree. I’m not gonna lie, when I first saw the ADS zoom I freaked out; but after understanding how everything works, and seeing all the RUL gameplay, H5 does indeed look like it’s gonna kick -YOINK!-
Thanks for sharing that. Everything I have seen thus far looks amazing.

See what I think the problem is that people are giving into knee jerk reations without watching more then just one video. Honestly, these “fans” who keep on crying that spartain abilities, smart scope and, sprinting won’t work, I don’t give a flying -Yoink- about their opinions. The only people’s opinions I care about when it comes to Halo 5 multiplayer are those who ACTUALLY played it. And everyone who has, from reviewers to rooster teeth staff, to actual halo MLG players have all said the same thing.
It’s a damn good game. Everyone else who thinks they know what their talking about despite never playing it and saying it’s the death of Halo can go jump off a cliff.

Just trying to balance out all this blind hate with some logic.
This game does look amazing. Can’t wait to play the beta soon.
…that announcer sounds like a complete joke. It’s like he’s purposely trying to sound sarcastic.
This looks insanely fun and just as competitive. Lets just hope it, ya know, WORKS!

So I post new multiplayer footage that adds to the argument that this could and most likely will be a good Halo game, and none of you negative nancies have anything to say about it because it deflates your pointless argument.
Typical.

He uses ADS twice with the BR and the guy got hit with the aoe effect of the ground slam outside of the targeting circle and it still took his shields down. That’s makes it pretty strong.
I love how the game looks I can’t wait to play the beta!!!
Just please remove the hitmarker sound or change it to something more subtle.
The new BR sound cool, but the hitmarker sound gets in the way of all the weapon sounds.
If i were the sound designer, i would swap the pistol and assualt rifle firing sounds with
the halo ce anniversary pistol and AR since those sounded BRUTAL
As for the announcer, i loved Jeff Steitzer’s original style from the older halo’s, but i
really don’t mind his new style either it works.
CAN’T WAIT!!!
Thanks for posting this, am really liking his commentaries
The game does look like a lot of fun, I can’t deny that. Seeing the game again shows me that the pace isn’t quite as super fast as I had initially thought, it really looks like a Halo game. However, those medals… Why? Why do we have a billion medals for stuff like a perfect kill? Or getting two for headshots? It’s just over the top ridiculous, really.
That, and I’m really not a fan of the power weapon audio/visual indicators. A big part of Halo was knowing when the weapons spawned. You have to play smart, not just listen to cues all game long.
Looks great!! Thanks for the link.
Looks fun. Looking forward to the beta.

So he zoomed twice? Lol but I means it’s clearly nothing like COD or modern shooters where you NEED it to play the game that’s why I won’t use the default controller scheme because it might make me lean towards using it more than needed

Nope, in COD, just like in pretty much any other game with ADS, you dont need to do it but you do it cause it gives a bit of a bonus. Which is also applies in this game. This is a small stage so there was little reason to do it in most encounters. BTW, i didnt not count the times he did use zoom with the sniper rifle.
Let’s wait until we start encountering bigger stages and you’ll start seeing everyone using ADS.

I pretty much agree with all of what you say.

For the record, not using ADS in COD is a death wish. Not the case in Halo 5.

My point exactly^^^ unless you let it affect you because the way they explain it its gonna be a mental thing if you spend the whole game zooming in. In a big map they will use it as much as they would zoom because it’sss a big map lol.
