Has anyone noticed the uptick in mods during gameplay? The full auto pistol, cindershot floating explosions, commando without recoil (this is fun to run around with), hydra with what looks like 20-30 rounds, phasing through players, player damage from previous death carrying over to spawn, etc.?

Same here. Yesterday i run across a player that could shot the sidekick like an assault rifle. Its so annoying. 1 issue get fixed and the next 1 comes up.

From playing the Beta to season 2, there are more issues in gameplay now IMO.

Lot more like bot accounts too, like weird letter number combinations and such.
Guess until 343i add anti cheat this is just going to get worse.

Full auto pistol and no recoil commando are from controller mods. The others I have not yet seen.
There is a new mod/hack floating around though which will highlight spawns prior to a player spawning allowing the enemy to destroy you seconds after.

One of the few things they can do is to give people the option to reject cross-play, but that doesn’t help people that play on PC. The people that are actually to blame though are the players that decide to cheat and the companies whose sole business model is creating hacks and cheats for games for profit. Cheating is everywhere, not just in gaming. Anyone who cheats is not much of a person, and anyone who stays friends with a cheater, well they’re not much of a person either. Playing on Xbox, haven’t had to deal with people using hacks and cheats, not until cross-play where it is obvious there are cheaters in the room, and if you look for the signs you can see where they turn it on and off which then turn the tides of the match.

Ha I’d say that’s been in the game since at least January.
Can we just turn off crossplay? Don’t know bout other console players but I want the option of who I play with. PC brings and array of problems with it in the form of hackers and such. I refuse to touch ranked atm because end of last season I have clips of aimbot, wallhacks, etc.

Crossplay needs to be optional on everything but 343 won’t allow it bc they need to keep players on different platforms together to make it look like they have a good population.

The first step to fight against them is to share with people what kind of cheat they use. No secret at all. People dont realize how discret soft cheat has become. Let the peeps knows about it. The only real cheating software for Halo is. ENGINE OWNING ( known as « E.O ») you’d be surprised everything you can do with that one. You can still play with controller with the software activated. CHEATERS ARE LOWKEY. You could talk with friends who cheat and you wouldnt even know.
And im not talking about famous people being detected by anti-cheat while they simply post a tweet and they get unbanned instantly…. It happens in every games. Its all about money.

Personally i dont want to see options to turn crossplay off as im a xbox and pc player.
They just need to make it so its input matchmaking so you will only get
•controller vs controller
•M&k vs M&k

Even then you could restrict the game to max 120fps as thats what the series x can achieve i believe.
