I think everyone will agree with me in saying this: I want more fun characters! The Master Chief I knew that made subtle jokes, Sgt. Johnson (R.I.P), those gritty, yet eternally courageous marines and those not so courageous marines. All of these characters made Halo feel real and I miss these characters.
I second this, we need more light heartedness back in Halo.
The banter with the marine trying to get into that room at the start of Halo 3 springs to find, I love that scene.
The battlefield chatter has just been something that spiced up the gameplay making it a bit more lively, the removal was instantly noticeable & it (removal) made the gameplay just so much more bland.
A bit of profanity is expected when people get shot, also the yeehaaaws resulting from warthog jumps are a must have.

Yeah the old school marine banter is the best. They can also bring back Buck as a supporting character for some humor as well, just don’t make him stupid and funny the whole time, he’s still a serious character at times.
You mean to tell me Commander Sarah Palmer isn’t a fun character?! This is earth-shattering, nay, Halo shattering.

Yes totally agree with you mate we need a character which in a way resembles Sgt. Johnson but (NOT A REPLACMENT) just a character or feature within certain characters in order to make the game more fun and meomrable
