Do you think the flood will appear in halo 4 and play a significant part? If so, how do you think this will affect your experience with the game?
Didn’t they confirm that the Flood wasn’t going to be in-game other than the MM playlist?

Flood have been confirmed to be out of the campaign for many, many months.
There are special Flood skins for the new Infection, though
Frankie confirmed we will not be fighting the flood long ago.
They won’t be in the Halo 4 campaign, but you better believe they WILL be back.
Yep, no flood in halo 4. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them come back in 5 or 6. I’m kinda counting on it actually.
Just when there is no flood, we get weapons that were specifically design to kill flood.

In Halo 4’s campaign we will not see the flood, Frankie has said this, but they could poke the flood into a Spartan Ops mission, or we’ll fight them in the next major game.
I miss the flood. 
Unfortunately, Halo 4 is focused mainly and heavily on the Forerunners. We may seem them return in either Halo 5 or Halo 6…

I find them a pretty detestable, boring to fight, generic zombie-type, but bungie kept throwing them in the games. What is it that you like about them, if you don’t mind me asking?

The only flood in Halo 4 are in multiplayer.

Why is it so important to you that the flood be in the games? As I see it, the story traces back to the forerunners, humans, and precursors. The flood are just a side product of the interaction between the three over the millennia. Do you like fighting them? Or do you think that “halo wouldn’t be halo” without them?

The Flood’s very creation was due to an act of barbarity by the Precursors over a million years ago. They may be a means to an end for the Precursors, but they are still a big part of the story, especially when they will be used to test humanity.

As it happens, I do like space zombies in a way. 
But, respectfully, aren’t they a bit generic? I’d think that 343i could have us facing off of entities that aren’t already in many other games, and really make halo something unique.
I kind of miss the flood.
