Each level of halo 4 seems to be set on one main type of weapon group when it comes to ordnance in dominion. For example, exile and longbow consist of all human weapons with a few exceptions here and there. Vortex and meltdown consist of mainly promethean weapons. I would like to see more variety in these games. Not many covenant weapons ever show up and it would be nice to see a fuel rod cannon and a sword/hammer occasionally. This is just my opinion of a way to improve the already fun new game type.
I love this idea! I want to see the Fuel Rod gun in Exile, the Sword in Longbow, the Hammer in Meltdown, and the Beam Rifle in Vortex.

Yes please, this would be great. Majority of players vote Longbow and exile so much that it becomes a pain to just find a match on Meltdown and Vortex for a decent chance at forerunner kills.

In dominion? I rarely see the needler in dominion ordnance other than the initial weapon spawns
It is for balancing, a gun like the binary rifle would be a problem on exile with that stupid sniper look out, same with the incineration cannon with Base B.

This is exactly my thought, I’m getting a little bored of always seeing human weapons on the two most played dominion levels, exile and longbow. I love the few times I get to play meltdown but am still stuck with only promethean weapon ordnance

well maybe not a binary rifle or incineration cannon but how about a sword or concussion rifle now and then, maybe even a hammer thrown in the mix
I like the way Ordnance is set up now, though I don’t like the maps that use human ordnance.
I love Vortex, that map excels and the Forerunner ordnance helps.

I’m going to have to disagree on how vortex is set up but I do also enjoy the promethean weapons. Most games just consist of half of one team camping in b. I do like the ordnance system in dominion, I’m just hoping for a few extra additions of weapons here and there. Mainly weapons not seen as often such as the concussion rifle or hammer. (No hammer on vortex though, that would be awful with campers in b)
Well I thought about it in more depth and here is what I have come up with
carbine-added into rotation of dmr, br, and light rifle
concussion rifle-added into rotation on longbow and exile. Split probability with laser. Similar on vortex and meltdown but with splitting probability with the suppressor.
sword- added into shotgun/scattershot rotation on all levels, however less likely to see show up.
hammer-? unsure, difficult to balance. Maybe similar to sword but even more rare.
That’s all I got so far, I can’t think of ways to properly insert fuel rods, beam rifles, and anything else into the mix. Anyone else have any ideas or disagree with mine and have a better idea?
