Would be cool to have a halo game set on earth like up in the north like were winter is common and lot’s of ice like antartic or something it could be about a forerunner artifact or something that is important. we have been on to many warm places now time for a weather and enviroment change.
Aren’t the deadeye helmet set to be in antartic enviroments or something ?
We haven’t had a proper snow/ice map in the Campaign since Halo 3 (CEA doesn’t count and those last five minutes of Reach’s “The Package” don’t either). I having I’ve been craving for a snowy/icy Halo mission since ODST.

Same here they are more intressting to with the surrounding and such.

Yeah totally, my favourite Halo mission is Assault on the Control Room, part of the reason is because it’s a nice snowy level, it’s long, etc.
I so want a Halo game in this snow enviroment Dead space 3 launch trailer huge blizzards and being in ice caves with forerunner tech and prometheans. with a group of deadeye spartans
If reality is anything to shake a stick at, I doubt there will be any polar ice left on Earth by the 2500’s for our Spartans to endlessly slaughter each other on.
Though I concur whole-heartedly that we need moar snow maps. I think this would be a perfect opportunity to bring back an evolution of Containment from Halo 2. Massive bases… Plenty o’room for vehicles to romp around… Giant doors to interact with… Snow(men?)…
What more could we possibly ask for? On-map ammunition, of course!

Terraforming probably fixed that. That said, its still unlikely we’d fight at the poles.

Duh! The united earth government economically exploited the outer colonies to balance the books. Its a pyramid scheme. Three outer colonies support each one of the inner colonies financially until they develop to the point where they have the same socio-economic problems as the inner colonies and now require three more colonies of their own.
