The milestone career has been poorly neglected. The last update to the milestone system was around the release of Halo Combat evolved a little more over a year ago. Halo 4 achievements have yet to be incorporated into the Waypoint award system (Not the avatar award system). I enjoyed the updates the Halo Waypoint app got on the Xbox, but now it feels it has been static for about a year. Section 3 has been an nice addition, but what about increasing the career milestone to 100 and including Halo 2 PC achievements? I look through the awards and I see Halo Reach A.C.E., Halo CE Ann A.C.E., and then Halo 3 A.C.E. It seems like Halo 2 PC could fill the gaping void. It does have achievements after all.
The Waypoint Career system has always been an interactive experience that defined Halo Waypoint separately from other game hubs akin to that of CoD Elite and it saddens me to see the Career system build up some dust.
I agree about the milestones. It would be nice to at least get Halo 4 into it medals wise and H2 PC as well. It might be too hard for some reason code wise for PC, or perhaps they dont have the man power at the moment.
I would actually rather the medals/tiers be replaced for leaderboards, it would be cool to see how many people have all the achievements and where I stand globally.

Love your leader boards idea. I have wanted H2 PC achievements to show for a long time on the career milestone.
I think including PC achievements (aka Halo 2 Vista) would not be welcomed by many since not everyone, myself included, has a gaming PC.
You would effectively be limiting the potential of thousands of X-box only gamers to reach the maximum milestone, possibly turning them off the idea all together.
I know the inclusion of the Halo Wars achievements already causes some friction due to the fact that a lot of people are Halo FPS players rather than strategy gamers, so they already cannot achieve the higher milestones.
I’m not sure I’d say that because a person considers themselves an FPS gamer they “cannot” reach max rank. That is a choice not to play another type of game, not a physical limitation.
I will tell you from personal experience that maxing out Halo Wars SUCKED. I really enjoyed the campaign but the grind that was “Running the Show” was certainly not a good idea. I still did it though, and I am happy that I did.
You have a point with H2 PC. I also would like to see those added in there, but it’s true that not everybody has access to a PC, and at this point the servers aren’t around anymore (last I heard anyway). So nobody moving forward has the ability to gain them. That might be the nail in the coffin.

I understand that not everyone can run Halo 2 PC or run any games on their computer, but that is not warrant to alienate a portion of Halo players from the career mile stone system. Gaming across any platform is an expensive hobby especially on the Xbox 360, but this does not stop gamers who want to reach the top milestone. Any Halo gamer who wants to reach the maxium Milestone can by doing what they do best which is playing Halo games. Halo 2 PC does not require an expensive rig to run and is one of the cheapest to purchase Halo games that offers Xbox live tracked achievements. It would be similar to saying that only a select few Halo games should be tracked because not everyone can afford to purchase all the Halo games. Halo 2 PC may be different in the case that it is for the PC, but the principle remains true.

They just extened the server life to june in order to find an alternative to keeping the online running. Halo 2 PC is still Live.
