I have noticed many times that there are usually one or two people out there that sometimes has armor that looks a lot like mine. If you are like me, You would rather have yours be the only one that looks like that. I was thinking that maybe there should be more variety, such as a larger amount of colors you could wear, and maybe you could have more options on where to put these colors. And Maybe different designs on armor that could have like, a wolf on the shoulder pads and scars on the helmet, and other varieties that could come in REQ packs. What do you think?
I understand where you come from when it comes to people looking the same. I think that is why 343 is always coming out with new armors but I feel instead of makeing new armor sets they should bring back some of the old armor sets. Such as Halo 3’s CQB, Hayabusa (katana). Halo 4’s hazop, EOD, oceanic, etc. I feel armor such as these were loved and missed when they did not return. Bringing back the reach memories armor was a great start I believe.
I think the reason we see a lot of similar armor, is because there are really only so many actually good looking pieces of armor. It’s awesome that 343 can have 223 different armors, but when 191 of them are totally fugly, it isn’t helping.
Quality over quantity needs to be preached and practiced.Unfortunately, when you have the “free updates” and microtransaction system, more content is a guarantee release as opposed to better content.
Actually that would be kinda cool
I just want to be able to choose shoulder pads, legs, arms, etc. halo 5 took a step back in terms of customization.

Srsly. We have like 9 zillion armors that all look the same and are all hideous.
I totally agree with you
Halo Reach had the best armor customization in my opinion, the depth of the sets were far superior and actually made the Spartans look more tatctical…the special armors were better executed (Jun’s chest, Emile’s helmet, Cats robotic arm), you could literally make your character look like a member of Noble Team if you wanted. I find the armor sets in Halo 4-5 make you look more like a Power Ranger.
This is what happens when you limit customization to colors and armor sets, bad things happen and fans feel like they don’t stand out at all. customization increases the longevity of some games and rewarded fans for due diligence. I think I am one of the few that is tired of playing the slot machine game with every gold pack hoping to get the armor. I kind of want to return to having in-game credit system or achievement system that Reach and Halo 3 possessed for the next title. leave the emblems out of the pack, make it visor, weapon, vehicle and boosts exclusive.

I liked it when armor was earned for commendations too in halo 4. Like the venator armor was earned by getting so many assassinations. Or the cio for so many spartan kills. Also my favorite the vanguard armor for capture the flag yet not many people had the incentive to play that game mode in my opinion.

Hardly true when they kept rotating the heck out of said playlists.
No. If you haven’t noticed, there are a lot of armor already. 235 or so helmets and their armor makes little under 500 (correct me if these are not the right numbers for how many there are). Of course you might see a guy wear the same armor, but at any time. You/they can change armor.
This halo 5 customization system makes me feel very limited compared to the other halo games
Also another point; I still wished we saw the emblem on our armor. That was a nice touch to make the character unique in a way. With all the armors having multiple paint schemes instead of having 5-6 different armors to unlock; why not have one set and let us choose which Pattern we want to put on? Also adding placement of the emblems would be another nice touch. If we can equip Weapon skins; Armor skins would really streamline the armor selection so instead of having 6 of the same armor with different paint jobs…we get to choose which one we’d like to have.
Simple additions that would make armor customization better overall.

How about custom emblems made through the site. Battlefield does it a lot, we could make the emblem pieces unlocks and people can use said pieces to build their own emblem to be seen on their weapon and shoulder pad.

But then you get people with giant, …um, body parts plastered all over there armor. I mean, if their into that, that’s fine, but they’re is a time and a place for that, and Halo is niether

Thats only in very rare occurrences and besides, they rely on an honor system to report a offensive emblem (which is how it should be.) we’ve had peeing brutes in this franchise, it being mildly rated mature is nothing new.
How about we just go back to having Reach’s level of customization!

This is like the most simple thing someone has said on the subject

The most simple thing? No, that would be the hundreds of one word answers that people used to reply to something.
