I know a lot of people say they cant add arena styled maps because of sprint but I think and know that is not true because if you make the arena styled maps a little bit bigger it work out well.
There is a Halo 4 Sanctuary Remake made by ApK and when you play you will see sprint will work fine on the map.
I would love to see Sanctuary return but I would love even more if 343 would add some FREE arena styled maps. I don’t care if they are Forged or not but I want some to remember and think back about in the future. We need maps that we remade in new Halo games.
I really don’t see how Sprint inhibits the creation of Arena Style Maps except for making the size larger, Haven is a prime example of a perfect Arena Style Map.
I would love more Arena Style Maps, and we’re also getting The Pit back.
aPK’s Sanc remake was pretty awful in comparison to other remakes I’ve seen; it only gets attention because of his name.
The Ring jump might as well be its own platform, there is a huge open window behind each flag. If you want arena maps, just check any Forge site, and you’re bound to find a few dozen to keep you occupied for a while.
We actually have quite a lot, just not all of them actually come up that often, or not ever in certain playlists.

Skyline, now THAT is a map that shoulda been vanilla!
It’s arguably the best 4v4 map in the game, casual and competitive wise…
Also, Am I the only 1 who wants to see a remake of guardian and longshore? I thought those were pretty good arena maps that would fit in halo 4…
I want to see more, and less, arena maps.
We have enough donut maps. Haven, Skyline, Abandon, Dispatch, Simplex, Onyx, Sanctuary, etc all follow the basic design of outer-circle + middle with little elevation. -Yoink- these maps. They are good maps, but there is way too many.
What we lack is maps with elevation, maps with trick jumps, bridge based maps, quad-maps, list goes on.
I definitely want to see more arena style maps, but I want to see ones that actually have justification for being in the game.

Guardian is a decent map that fixes most of the issues the original Lockout had, but I still feel a new map would be better.
I’d like to see a map like Epitome (Epitaph without shields) or Prisoner instead.
