I would buy the pack in a heart beat. In Halo 5 it was the best microtransaction EVER.
They should let you have the Chief be an announcer.
As much as I love Jeff, the direction of his announcements in the last couple of titles has shifted from bad -Yoink- to sporty soI don’t mind selecting other options.
If there’s an option for a “classic” style Jeff with deeper tones it’s the one I’ll pick hands down, but otherwise Chief, Arbiter (and/or Rtas Vadum), Johnson, Buck, Cortana, Atriox, Lord Hood etc.

I would almost guaranty this is in Infinite would love to see johnson and Cortana make a return from halo reach
I know it’s not feasible… but it would be awesome if they could have a couple of AI announcers who give a (slightly tongue-in-cheek) e-sports type commentary of your game.
“Red is down by 2 but Darwi has the rockets and is closing on the enemies base. This could be his time to shine. He needs to make these count… But oh, no - he’s been blindsided by the dirty filthy camo camper with the scatter shot. It’s going to be hard to come back from here.”
During the time I played Halo 5, I always wished there could have been a new announcer pack. Based on the first pack, my personal nominations would be:
- A human of the UNSC: Sgt. Johnson - A [former] member of the Covenant: Arbiter - A Forerunner construct: 343 Guilty SparkI originally wanted to have the Prophet of Truth as one of the announcers, but it will probably never happen. In Halo 5, He could have been unique in that he acts as though the Covenant forces in Warzone (Firefight) are under his command.
Of course, if we go back to having just one announcer who is also the classic one, I wouldn’t mind at all.
I think the first announcer pack was one of few things H5 got right. Would love to see another.
