Really when is the update coming out it should have been out by now. We have been waiting months for stuff that should have been out on launch. Yet they still make use wait. This is one of the reasons the population is so low.

It’s low relative to previous Halo entries. S/he isn’t wrong.
Im guessing Thursday
Live stream is today, so it should come out tomorrow or Friday unless something goes wrong.
I’m hoping for Friday at the latest since I’ll actually have a free weekend to binge on everything.

And where did you get this information? Cause I can reassure you halo 5 is played more than MCC lol. from a technical standpoint the halo 5 population isn’t low cause its “bad” or a “terrible halo” its low cause a lot of people have yet to switch over to Xbox One, its a logical reason and doesn’t mean the game is bad or anything of that matter.

I didn’t get this information from anywhere, I did the calculations myself. I’m not going to explain it here, but if you look for the population discussion thread, you’ll find several of my posts going into the methods of figuring out how to get an accurate population count. It’s a little outdated now, but it came out to aproximately 56k (i think that was the number. One method had it come to 49k )players at the time that I did the calculations, which was about 3 1/2 months ago, so I assume not much has changed. That’s pretty low compared to the average 400k in Halo 3 and 250k-300k in Halo Reach that lasted longer than 6 months after release. And the population being higher than the MCC doesn’t really prove anything. MCC is so low in population, I’m surprised support for it hasn’t been cut completely(well, it kinda has). And the population isn’t low because it is bad, because bad is subjective. Low population probably comes from the barebones content and the all too close parallels to other FPS games in the market.
