When 343 announced monthly seasons at the dawn of h5’s launch, I thought it was a great idea to keep the game fresh. I am still a fan of the season concept, however I’m kind of frustrated with how inconsistent 343 has been with the dates in which the new monthly season starts. When my arena ranks reset on March 1st, I was under the assumption that the 1st of each month would be the start of a new monthly season. Sadly 343 is still in limbo as to how they would handle season lengths
343’s way of saying, “April Fools, we don’t care about competitive players. Just buy our REQs”
I haven’t played any ranked playlists the last few days, waiting for the new season to start. Figured at this point, I’m pretty established with my rankings, so I’ll wait for April and start over. Apparently need to keep waiting…WZ Turbo then?

I’ve been playing FFa for the past four hours. New season was up earlier on this evening. I’m guessing about 5pm UK time to fall in line with Seattle’s morning post.
Still no reset for me. Couldn’t agree more with this post. It is annoying
Reset here. The reset every month is terrible, about 10 days after reset its impossible to find fair matches.

Not even 1 day. My first placement match had a player at level 144. I’m only at 48. That’s typical of the entire season. The season concept is garbage imo. It also sucks to lose xp to players still qualifying. If 343 is going to keep this crap system in place, it would be better if qualifIiers were separated from ranked matches. But that’s still the lesser of two evils.
