Yeah, maybe the updates should come from the MAIN halo account rather than community mangers tweets w/ only 88k followers. Actually communicate to the mass…
No company does that, like seriously msot companies the devs post info becuase you know they are the ones with the info. not the one low paying person running the main account.
I knew to never expect monthly drop pods. Joe Staten did suggest it might not be monthly straight away if I’m not mistaken but then again if they aren’t monthly then genuinely what is the difference?
At this rate we should track when 343 does something right, not when they do something wrong.
It appears you don’t know what a marketing team is.
I know what a marketting team is, you missed the joke. And how most the time the devs and marketting have different info.
There’s content out there for sure, but I can’t even put my finger on the direction Halo Infinite is going.
All the cosmetics are lukewarm, bar a few that are pure kino (like clippy) and I’m not even sure what audience the studio is trying to appeal to. I currently play causal and progress about an hour or so a day for the duration of a double exp boost and specifically play without being toxic. Playing like that is what Halo Multiplayer seems to be optimised for as I have experience very few lag or connectivity issues and completed every season’s pass with days left before the new season. I can’t see my playstyle for Halo Infinite appealing to everyone, especially those that like to grind and given that the bought cosmetics are either LGBT friendly or geared at kids, I don’t even know what the demographic is for Halo Infinite… The things that will make me change my playstyle is the ability to unlock more credits in exchange for gameplay time, weekly cosmetic items that I want (Fusion Coil AI that makes references to the companion cube from Portal anyone?).
Again, Halo Infinite seems like it’s in its infancy with a lot of potential to do remarkable things in gaming and the conflicting balance between making Halo Infinite unique and making MCC obsolete must be tricky to manage, but the update to Halo Infinite needs to happen at some point so why peel off the bandaid instead of just ripping it off and competing with the likes of Fortnite, but for an adult audience?
