K Im not sure if this is how 343 intended leveling to work or not but:
(Also possible spoilers about specializations?)
After my 117th win I was 800 experience away from level 50, and then I got the 17343 experience for completing the monthly challenge, but because I hit level 50 the xp bar disappeared and it said choose a specialization. So I chose a specialization and I didnt get the rest of my challenge xp
Basically I just want to know if thats a glitch or is supposed to happen, not pleased I only got to use 800 of my 17343 experience 
You’ll live, I didn’t get a single point from that challenge because I’m level 70.
Once you hit the classes specialization you cannot earn anymore exp until you change specialization. This works from level 50 and every 10 levels after. On the plus side once you change you recieve a free level up. You reach 50 change and automatically become 51. They lock the xp so people dont leap frog.
On a side note you must lose alot of games being level49 and only 116wins.
I was lvl 40 something when I completed the monthly challenge. I didn’t get anything. -.- And no, i wasn’t lvl 49.
Exact same thing happened to me! I was going to wait for the e-mail to choose a different specialization, and then got jipped. lol
