Monthly Challenge, what challenge?

25 days left for this to be completed. Win 30 Matches. Wow, really 30 whole matches. I am done already with this months challenge. I ask you, “How is this supposed to be a challenge?” Here is an even better question, “When is it going to change?” The monthly challenge has been pretty much the same since launch except it has been made even easier. November it was 130 wins, Dec 70 wins, Jan 70 wins, Feb 30 wins, and Mar 30 wins. What is going to be Aprils 10 wins? I don’t remember the exact numbers for the challenges so I did close guess.

Seriously challenges in Reach was a big reason I played as much as I did, these here on Halo 4 are crazy easy. Spartan Ops weekly challenges can easily be done in an a couple of hours. Campaign I don’t touch anymore because I don’t like the LASO challenges at all, they are too much work and not enough pay off, especially when you are already level 130. If the campaign had challenges like “Kill 40 grunts while using the Jet Pack” or things like that I would do those campaign challenges, cause it would promote ways to play the campaign you normally wouldn’t.

So after I finished those regular challenges, there was the custom challenges that were also fun to create and complete, and challenge friends with.

343 this may seem minor but really take a look at the challenges, take ques off of Reach for some really good ideas for variety. To top that off add more ranks, 130 can be obtained wicked fast, again take ques off of Reach for that too.

its way too easy but i have already reached max rank so it dosent bother me anymore

I agree they should make harder challenges, atleast the month challenges.

we need waypoint challenges back as well.

even the wargames aren’t really that challenging just more time consuming.

SpartanOps? around 10k - 20k Xp for killing 5 hunters and some missions drop off around 20 of them…

It’s not difficult to create Challenges. I’m not sure why 343i have dropped the ball on this one.

Yeah, and the custom challenges in Reach were promoted so highly and yet we haven’t seen anything concerning anything like this for Halo 4, why?
Also, I don’t understand why 343i just decided to make the challenges quite a bit higher in XP payoff recently…? It’s nice being able to get to 130 so quickly -definitely helped me! SR 128 now. But the challenges(other than the Campaign ones -tho those get a bit better when in co-op) have a much higher XP payoff than they used to but they are still pretty moderate.

The only thing with SR 130 for me is that it’s actually tangible -Reach, I’m stuck on Noble…!
But the only thing with these ranks at the moment is that they just say how long I’ve played -or at least a minimum estimation of it…

Yeah, they’re easy. I managed to get the 70 win one with well over a week to spare, the 30 wins is kinda weak.

Then again the rewards for even small challenges have skyrocked as far as I’ve noticed. I’ve been at 130 since before the new year and they seem to be getting higher and higher on the XP payouts.

XP for each has gone way up, and the actual completion requirements have gone way down.

How about no challenges.

Challenges in Halo 4 simply cycle, anyways. The War Games daily and weekly are the only ones ever marginally unique. The Campaign ones always consist of completing a mission on Heroic difficulty with a certain few skulls on, and completing a specific mission on Legendary with certain skulls on. The Campaign missions go chronologically and reset back to “Dawn” after “Midnight”. It’s done that since launch. Why can’t we have something other than completing the Campaign over and over?
