343 recently added a new thing to the req system called month of the mythic. You get to buy a pack that includes 12 of one type of mythic weapon. The weapon changes every week. It costs 100000 req points or ten dollars to buy it. Ten dollars. Ten dollars! TEN DOLLARS!! REALLY 343? If you’re gonna give us ANOTHER limited time req pack, please make it cost very low! So many people have thrown away so much money for these req packs. 343 is basically just taking our money and saying, “Here you go! A nice polished set of new req cards!” Month of the Mythic either has to contain very low costing req packs, or be deleted entirely! What do you guys think?
Well, it hasn’t got me hot 'n -Yoink!-, but I’m sure there are those that are willing to splurge their points or an Alexander Hamilton on some mythics.
I don’t play warzone enough anymore to care. One of my friends told me though that if you have everything unlocked you get 50k RP back, so I might cash in some of my RP reserve if and when they add a Nornfang pack or another mythic I like.
I don’t think it’s that big of an issue because the Prophet’s Bane isn’t stupidly powerful like the Nornfang for example.
It would be ridiculous if they made a Nornfang pack.

They’re going to do that. I just have a feeling. Maybe next week? Surely at some point this month.

To the people saying it’s not so bad or you don’t care, just wait until it becomes worse and worse then you’ll be caring. Unfortunately it will be too late for you to be heard because most the fans screaming about it now will have left the franchise.
I do not think you can consider the prophets bane a mythic weapon anymore. The -Yoink!- things are all over the place right now. You really should not see a “mythic” rarity weapon being used by 5 or 6 guys multiple times in a match and every match. Mythic rarity implies that it is something that you only see every now and again.

Yeah you got the point here.
Had a game yesterday with 6(!!) people on the enemy team spamming that thing, that game wasn’t that much fun because of the horde of invisible kids camping in the green.
Sad enough 343 ruined my favorite gametype BTB for replacing it with -yoinking- wz just to ruin that one too. I only played WZ occasionally when I was frustrated by the mess BTB is now but I’ll refuse to touch it.
Time for me to go back to reach, it had a playable and fun MM after all.
Capturing bases is a nightmare and it only takes one guy who won’t try and get the kills.
