I’ve been an avid halo fan since the series started back in 2001. When 343 took the helms of the halo franchise, I gave them the BOTD. I didn’t jump on the “hate 343” bandwagon and shout “BUNGIE IS SOOO MUCH BETTER!”. I wanted 343 to become the new bungie. A company that listened to its fans. But here we are. We have microtransactions being thrown at us left and right. I never really had an issue with the warzone/req system, but I never thought they would do this. $10 for ONE certification? Really? 343 wants us to pay 1/6 of the full game for ONE mythic certification. That is yoinking ridiculous. I don’t want to hear “oh you can earn it with req points.” 100,000 req points? Seriously? 343 knows people aren’t patient enough to grind out 100,000 req points for one Mythic cert. If they didn’t want you to pay for it, they wouldn’t have put the $10 option in there. This needs to stop. We need to stop accepting/tolerating this. If we don’t send the message to 343 that we don’t want this, then they will continue to try and gouge us for all we’re worth.
