Month of mythic has very minimal affect on warzone

I kind of died of laughter when he said it was “unplayable” and attacked anyone who supported these packs. It’s really sad…

That is not the point anti-Requisition people are making. With Month of Mythic, people get to buy specific things to use with money. REQ point price is excessive that discourage spending REQ points for the pack and make people think spending money would skip them grinding. REQ point price is there to encourage use their money. Whether it has impact or not, the thing is now Halo 5 allows people to gain advantage by purchasing these packs, which is pay to win. In other pay to win games, you can still win without spending money just like people in Halo 5 stated, but you are having disadvantage over other people who spent money. This will most likely become more invasive in future Halo games and that is what people are concerned about it. Like other people said, it’s a gradual change and one day you will notice how this system had become.

Might not impact Warzone much, but it’ll have an effect on the Halo franchise as whole, because, if it turns enough of a profit, 343 and Microsoft will continue to implement similar systems and items in future games, and seeing as to how a fairly vocal portion of the community is opposed to the REQ system, well, I’m pretty sure you can guess why it’s frowned upon.

Very thought out post OP. You detailed a lot of facts that disapprove all the criers out there saying they’ll stay away from WZ cause everyone will be running around with legendary weapons. As you said they have to get to level 7 or higher first.

I’m really just bummed out that you can just buy these things than actually “earning” them from countless hours of play time and randomness

Thats the whole point of Warzone Turbo

LMAO so true

Still amazes me that people actually support microtransactions in a $60 game…

Though, you know what it does affect?

Bolstering 343’s poor judgment

JK

oh the most powerful weapon in the game sold for €10 minimal!

Halo is not as low as cod, COD has exclusive weapons in the micro transaction system and they are also selling dlc’s with them

Personally I give zero -Yoinks!- about Warzone. It’s already as unbalanced an unstructured as can be, by design. The fact that 343 shipped an unfinished game for $60 and paraded the updates as DLC is bad enough. You can argue that these updates were “free at least” but noone would pay $$$ for that -Yoink- anyways. They have a lot of balls putting a price tag on the reskinned, regirgitated content that already bloats the POS Req system. If some dip -Yoink- wants to line MS pockets buying MoM BS that’s on them, but it’s pretty obvious that there just gonna nickel dime us more aggressively as time goes on and thats the real issue I don’t like. Buying into MoM is just begging them to continue shipping half finished full price games and drip feeding the rest of the game for more and more $$$.

Honestly i fell more vulnrable than powerfull using these mythic reqs theres to many AI to worry about and to many bayonete using scrubs.if you want to one shot me dont be a lazzy c$&t and use bayonete smg, spawn a power weapon since when should a loadout weapon one hit some wtf

I purchased the newest Mythic, and I must say that I am rather disappointed. I feel the need to conserve these, partly because of their level and partly because I do not want them to go to waste.

Like many other people are against Month of Mythic it has less to due with it ruining the current state of warzone then it does setting a trend in future Halo games. This is dangerously close to Pay to Win. Micro transactions almost always get more aggressive as time goes on, we should say no to anything like Month of Mythic because the more successful it is, the more likely we are to see a pay to win style implementation.

Yeah it’s slightly annoying for about the first night they put one up, but past that I hardly notice more Mythic weapons being thrown around and WZ is all I play.

Too much logic for one thread. These are a few of the reasons why I haven’t touched Halo since the last update/MoM launch

I do agree that there was a massive overreaction to the month of mythic as a whole, particularly in terms of the ‘unplayable Warzone’ view a lot of people had.
However, I still feel that giving people an option to straight up buy the items that are supposed to be one of the rarest to get or the option to buy the better items without doing anything cheats those who have done it all legit and provides a shortcut that unbalances the req system.

Well you see, those youtubers posted videos during the prophets bane week. Way more people bought those packs. There were already matches with Spartan companies using all prophets bane in warzone. So initially it did have an effect in terms of gameplay. But now, yes, I’ve hardly seen any nornfangs or Tartarus gavel so far compared to how many prophets banes were seen during the first week.

>
> i wont call out of course, but there was one YouTube channel that made a “rant” video when the prime pack came out, and he/she was mentioning how bad it is that you can buy an OP rocket launcher that “boosts your speed and shields”. Boosts your shields?? Uhh, it does NOT do that. Also, they mentioned that you can get 100,000 RP in roughly 3-6 warzone games. What?! Have you even played halo 5 once??
>
> Some of these people complaining literally have no idea what they’re talking about. They just jump on MoM immediately with criticism and mention how it’s bad for the game, and how it’ll -Yoink- up gameplay, but they don’t even have basic knowledge of other aspects of the game. How can you even take their criticism (or channel) seriously when they don’t even know the game they’re talking about? Maybe they do it for views, maybe they do it because they are genuinely unintelligent, I don’t know.

Yeah this guy is right this is the biggest overreaction I have seen im my life, I wonder how youtubers hate this so much, I for one like the idea of it. It hasn’t broken the gamplay 343i themselves stated that WZ is not meant to be balanced
oh and btw spknr prime does increase your shield protection
