Depends what region you’re in.
Here in the UK the cans give you a website to visit.
In the US it works very differently, having to validate your receipts etc. Other regions are also a bit different too.

The way I have been doing it, here in Texas, is through this website. I have to take a photo of the receipt and send it to them. After filling out some info, I now have 17,854 points.
