Monitors beware

<mark>This post has been edited by a moderator. Do not make posts discussing moderation decisions.</mark>

If you’re a monitor then this topic is all about you! This is dedicated to your rule in the halo community. Some do your jobs right others don’t but it’s the way of life. You’re human and I’ll respect that. Anyway the best monitor award goes to Viper and stkr. Sorry I didn’t tag your tags I don’t really know how to do that and I don’t know how to spell them off the top of my head. Any how there are others beyond these two I just noticed these monitors don’t abuse their power and have a sense of humor. Yeah sktr may have locked threads of mine but at least he commented on why it was locked. Just like in USA when a cop arrests you he or she has to tell you the law you have broke or they by law can’t arrest you. Thank you sktr and viper you have a sense of humor that’s keeping this forum alive. Sarcasm is a thing and shouldn’t be taken seriously. Congrats monitors learn from them.

There’s a place you can go and post about the monitors and moderation changes… Anyway this will also probably get locke’d…

Feel an incoming lock

It’s against forum rules to speak about moderator decisions. I know you mean no harm, but wanted to let you know.

I’ve still yet to see a Monitor abuse their power, like everyone claims.

I’m pretty evenly satisfied with all the monitors to be honest.

No I exaggerated a bit. There are monitors who do but you can’t do anything about it. But if anything this is actually a post to saying good job. More of a Monitor awards ceremony. Oh also I know this topic is going to be locked I did this ententially to test something. First Monitor to explain why this is being locked wins. Don’t be rude either. I’m being kind here so I want kindness in return

Actually, sounds pretty passive aggressive: "Some do your jobs right others don’t but it’s the way of life."

Comment before this gets locked! LOL

Thats because to other people its, Breaks rules>get punished>gets salty>repeat until>claim mods are abusing power, like the guys that claim that the police are unfair for arresting them when they were caught stealing for the fifth time.

Thing is, I’ve been going on these forums for a year and a half now, and I haven’t seen a Monitor do anything wrong. I’d ask you for examples, but no posting about Monitor decisions and all that.

You already said you know it will get locked so there is no need to explain anything since I’m sure you already know the reason. Also, if it’s not a rule to explain why threads get locked, then they don’t have to go out of their way to tell you why it was locked. If they do, then it’s a courtesy, but not something you’re entitled to receive.

Couple of things here:

I appreciate you feel I am a good monitor. But I believe this may, at least in part, be because I am one of the newer mods. Meaning I haven’t been around long enough to administer as many punishments.

And compliment or not, this thread is against the rules. Discussing moderation decisions. We don’t allow this because if we let one person do it, it would allow anyone to discuss their warnings, account status, bans, appeals, all of that stuff openly on the forums. We’d like to avoid that.
