It would be interesting if 343 were to develop a game completely devoted to Monitors. How guilty spark uses his forge ability to help build structures and fortify them. A game that allows you to complete puzzles by building to a certain degree. A game that hones in the creative side of gaming and allows players to complete constructive tasks in a give amount of time while also providing sufficient goals. It sounds a lot like a forge game, but its not…its more like portal than a forge game. Create structures for transport and creativity.
You know Forge Monitor’s aren’t canon, right?
Eh… I have to be honest I don’t think it would sell

What does that mean?

Well if it were presented in the right context it might, but as far as expanding it it might not. How ever the concept still sounds pretty nice.

That Monitors can’t do anything they can do in Forge.

Says who?
If 343 did this, they could very well modify what players can do with the monitor mode within a campaign element.

Exactly, but as long as forge exists a story could at least be told. At least on how monitors came to be forgers.
