Okay so I’m kind of annoyed about this because it doesn’t seem right but I’ve seen several times that when a monitor decodes to lock a post, they go through the thread looking only at the original posters posts and flagging them, ignoring the other ones that have been reported completely. What I’d like to know is why? Shouldn’t they be more thorough at their job and actually read threads before banning just one person?
We all work threads/forums differently. Just because reported posts aren’t edited yet, doesn’t mean the won’t be at some point. (Note that that doesn’t mean they absolutely WILL be edited though.)

I’ll thank you to not assume you know how thorough we are at our jobs. I can guarantee you there’s a lot more happening behind the scenes than you will ever see.
And in the future, if you have an issue with moderation, take it up with a moderator in private please.
