Monitor Abusing Power

A Monitor " Snickerdoodles " Banned me from making posts a few weeks ago, because i stated my opinion of the game, I’m sorry but i thought freedom of speech applied to 343, but i guess just cause i said something negative about 343, and ranted on about why i didn’t like the game in my opinion, she wanted to ban me for flaming -_-. I’m pretty positive Free Speech is allowed on the internet, Right? Because she said its not, which my friends and i all laughed at because of what she did, and said, but as of right now, I’m un-banned, and i thought id put her on the spot for abusing her monitoring powers. I wanted 343 to hear what i felt, and was i mad, YES, i don’t hate your game. It has tons of issues though and im sure if you all listen to the community more I’m sure the game could be much better in many ways.

I hope you realize that making posts about moderation decisions is against forum rules.

Moderators are volunteers. It’s not a good look to call them out. I see that they share their opinions on the forum, and if you are respectful, the will be respectful back, just like anybody else.

As above, calling out moderators is against the forum rules. I recommend you edit your thread.

Your post was just a mindless, rage-filled rant in all caps. It was locked because it would have inevitably started a flame war.

As per our forum rules, which you have already been linked to but here is the link again, discussing moderator decisions is not for the open forum. If you want to speak about any actions taken against you please contact one of the moderators or administrators of the site to discuss it further.

Regarding free speech - you have the right to it, but it doesn’t mean that people have to listen to what you are saying. It also doesn’t mean you get a free pass to break the rules of this forum, which you did and action was appropriately taken.
