The Destroy Enemy Mongoose commendations is a pain for anyone trying to get 100% completion. 343 has done a good job of incorporating most vehicle commendations into Firefight but throwing in soldiers in Warthogs and Mongooses would help ease the grind. Mongoose especially is a pain but I could imagine a “round 2” of 4-6 mongooses at a time attacking the team. Think they could make this work? Shooting the soldiers directly would be easiest and you would avoid the mongoose entirely but it is something I would like to see make it into Firefight. Thoughts?
Can there also be killing soldiers piloting wasps too? Just for fun. 
If they have hijacked Mantis’ and Warthogs, why not???

I’m almost done with Mongoose destroyer… I get up set every time I see one drive by and I either don’t get the kill or I accidentally kill the driver first… 
Gungeese also count towards the mongoose comm.
But I agree, as long as they are on gungeese though.
Mongeese would be to easy
The mongoose destroyer commendation is so hard because the Gungoose costs as much reqs as the better tougher vehicles like the warthogs and the ghosts. There needs to be some way of specifically having mongeese, and this idea is perfect.
with the accuracy that enemys currently have on firefight gungoose’s would be over powered as they would be a one shot kill. if they reduced there accuracy it would be a fun round as well as going towards the commendation

Meant to say gungoose all along. Mongoose got stuck in my mind due to the commendation name.
I can only imagine a bunch of soldiers driving around on Mongoose’s trying to splatter all the Spartans. Yeah not going to work that way. Make em Gungooses!
Imagine the wild shots those soldiers would make with the ONI Gungoose
I just unlocked it today. I completed all weapons and all other vehicles well before this commendation. I thought this one or warden kills would be last but since they made warzone firefight warden commendation has been easy. It’s very tough commendation to get. An good strategy is to get a laser and camp their vehicle spawn. Otherwise good luck!

I recommend Typhoon. It’s a Mongoose killer.

I’m not trying to revive an old thread, but what ever came out of this effort to add a mongoose round in firefight? I would love it if they did.
Like 30 Gungooses would be interesting [plural of Mongooses is mongooses, oddly enough].

Anything to make the probability of getting a “Mongoose Destroyed” medal more in the player’s favor. Taking out Mongoose Sumo from Action Sack really makes this commendation more of a grind because people don’t use Mongooses as much as they used to!
