man did this take commendation take forever.this This therad is meant to explain how I did it and to give tips to others who want to get this monster over with. Frist i want to thank xa abulm cover for coming up with the idea of damaging the mongoose before you let your foes on. Also, this thred is IMO an easier way to get mongoose mastery.
step 1 predamaging the mongoose
take any mongoose (preferably your team mongoose that’s laying around and on a objective gametype. CTF IMO is easist because useally people get on any vehicle and rush the flag) and punch it about 4 to 5 times till black smoke comes out of the engine
step 2 Drive
there is two ways you can do this you can either drive up to a foe and let him hijack you and then stick him with a plasma, or you candrive to your enemy base and place it in front of their spawn or in a area that if walking by can’t miss, and park it facing YOUR flag.
step 3 run and postion yourself
after parking, run back to base and make sure you have a sticky (or something that explodes) an dput your self in the direction the mongoose that you parked. However don’t be too close too the foe’s base otherwise you will influence the enemy to spawn away from the mongoose
Step 4 wait for someone to rush your base with the mongoose that you placed
wait somewgere along the path where the mongoose will be drive once an enmy get’s one and once they do (and it won’t work everygame where someone will get on) and stick as there driving past and then boom you got a mongoose destroyed. note that you may kill any undmanged mongoose by sticking the mongoose twice but it’s more likly that you will kill the driver frist instead of the mongoose. to do this stick the tires then anywhere on the mongoose will give you a kill as well.
step 5 patience
You won’t get a kill every game and this is not something you will master overnight. this takes time the most i have ever gotten was 17 in one daymost of the time it’s 6 or 5. if you are confuse take a look at the videos below tp show you how it’s done

or just go to my file share and download and watch mongoose kill 1 -6 and luckest mongoose kills if you are more of a visual person.

From what little I know, that armor mod only ejects you if it’s about to explode but hasn’t yet gone over that damage threshold and exploded into a thousand tiny bits. If you don’t give the armor ability the chance to activate, it won’t - Spartan Laser that mongoose and its driver into the next Halo game!
'course I’ve noticed if you graze the mongoose with the laser or shoot it in the passanger area it won’t obliterate it on contact…
In one respect it’s a shame that people like you are spending time damaging mongooses and postioning them near enemy bases and lying in wait for them rather than focusing on the objective and helping your team win the game, (your team is effectively a man down whilst you’re doing this) but on the other hand I realise that some people are desperate to try and complete all the commendations and 343 shouldn’t have made ones like this virtually impossible to complete during the normal course of gameplay. For that reason I’ve thanked your opening post.
I may try the tactic every now and again (perhaps if the match is effectively already lost) because I only have a few Mongoose kills right now. Thanks for sharing your tactic.

to A Blues fan indeed you aren’t really helping the team in fact a lot of people have tried to betray me because of this but if you are luckly right when you get their with a mongoose your team has pick up the flag and you can drive them to score the flag which is helpful but do say if you a big commendation person, such as myself, this is the way to go and a good way to get flag victory done because of how long it takes to get this mastered

Congratulations on the achievement. I only have the Scorpion and the Mongoose left for that category and that will never happen.
