And finally, the only way to get a destroyer commendation is for your enemy to climb in a damaged mongoose, then park in front of your wraith looking for the radio station where Palmer talks about eggheads.
By the way, Eggheads are OP.

The reason is why it didn’t destroyed is because the Spartan Laser a little bit underpowered. That’s all.
Somebody accidentally gave the Warthog’s useful armor plating to the Mongoose.
Yeah! It’s not fair: you get the Scorpion and start trashing the Yoink! out of the blue team, but WAIT! here comes a little spartan on that fast and deadly Mongoose. The only way they could nerf the Mongoose is by making it explode whenever it crash-splatters another player.

Completely bacon.
You need a passenger or explosive launch to make it insta-effective and splattering can easily be avoided by a few AA’s, the PP and a good stick.
The Mongoose is the most non-offensive vehicle and best used for objective carrying. Because of this, it may have more HP than a 'Hog.
Lol I did a direct hit on a mongoose with the Laser and it just flipped… Could be lagg then I guess.

i dont think the mongoose has to be destroyed to actually get credit towards the commendation. i have a few of them and the vehicle never looked destroyed.
i think the hardest part is not killing the driver before the mongoose. they almost act as human shield for it.

But on an unrelated subject. I always aim for the driver or passenger. The mongoose has too much hit points to be taken out by anything less than a rocket launcher, and usually I don’t have one.

The UNSC should just get a large army of Mongooses (yes, that’s grammatically correct) to fight the Covenant directly
no need for Hogs, Tanks, or Hornets, as Mongooses are more that powerful enough
