Yeah, Castle Wars is the best for working on this commendation. It’s the only game type where people actually use them regularly.

Funny you actually bring this up, I legit was grinding this commendation as I was just at the tail end of level 4 for mongoose destroyer when castle wars came out last week, after yesterday, I’ve now maxed it out at level 5. For sure castle wars is the best way to go around this, it’s somewhat decent for gungoose kills as well, as mongoose splatters actually count as gungoose kills, and if you blow up mongoose wreckage and kill someone with it that also counts, but I’d play normal btb mainly for that as there some instances where you can get more kills for that stuff if the map and lobby is just right. But yeah mongoose destroyer is best for castle wars, the tactic I go for on most maps is stick the mongoose and also melee it once, It’s pretty tricky to time but that’ll guarantee you a kill for it, unless you get maps like sanctum or hailstone, where there’s different mongeese that have better armor, and at that point you can only really stick it twice or stab the hell out of it and get lucky lol, I’d say stay in the back and hope that a teammate sticks it first and you get the second sticky on them when they come to you for these maps. Most of this is based on luck but hey If I could manage to get 50+ mongoose destroyer medals done in under a week, I’m sure lots of others can haha. Hope this helps!
The gungoose does count. I got the majority of mine in war zone against people using a gungoose. Castle wars and mongoose sumo are probably the easiest way to grind them when those game types are available. Good luck to you

the only problem in castle wars is making sure you dont get stabbed, and getting the stick, WITHOUT killing the driver, sometimes kinda difficult, but another easy way is to spartan charge a mongoose off the bridge in castle wars, most people stay in the gungoose/mongoose, so you’ll most likely get the medal.
