Anybody have any tips on how to get the Mongoose Destroyer commendation? It is very rare that I see someone on a mongoose and even then I end up getting the assist or kill them before I kill them and the bike. Is there a playlist that is better suited for gaining it over others? Am I simply wasting my breath here when all it takes is patience and coincidence for someone to come along and my killing of the bike and player?
Yea it’s a pain it is one of the few commendations I have left. I think I got most mine so far in Mongoose Sumo.

Just hop into btb and get into a ctf game and hope the enemy team thinks of using mongooses. I find this common on Altar and especially Basin with its gungooses.

I have tried sumo but it never counts as kills, only suicides. Or it very rarely counts as kills, and finding a game of mongoose sumo is also very difficult

Are you just shooting it? I found if you can get a good melee hit or two on it, it will count more often than not

Raid on Apex 7 in Warzone and use a tank is a decent way of getting a few in most games.
Or if going vs a mongoose with a ghost keep your shots low, not high
Arclights, Spartan Lasers, and Scorpions are wonderful ways to destroy Mongooses. For other methods, try playing BTB or Action Sack; Prop Hunt and Mongoose Sumo can help.
But above all, do not hit or kill the driver prematurely!
Mongoose sumo doesn’t make it as easy to get as it did before the update. Hanging off the side has you our of the stronghold now so you cant sit there like before. Prop Hunt can be tough because the zombies have such low shields. It is a tough one to get, but just play as much WZ and WZ assault as you can. Like HaXoR73 mentioned, be sure you are not shooting the driver prematurely.
It’s just one of those commendations that takes a lot of time. I got mine done in BTB and Warzone.
Prometheans have been known to hijack them or use spare ones. Try giving them one and then Splaser them.
Wraith and splatter. I was so happy when I completed the commendation. It has to be one of the rarest emblems.
Mongoose hunting is all about being patient. They rarely seem to come out… It’s a good day, heck week if you can bag 1-2 I’d say. I’d just play BTB 
Aside from killing Marines for the Achilles commodations, this has to be the worst one. I truly hope future Halo games stop having these kinds of ridiculous commodations.
Prop Hunt is your easiest bet, that is if people actually hid in the props…
Buy scorpions or lasers. Anything explosives really

This. Keep your shots low. Also the Arclight is really good as long as you aim low. The lasers aren’t bad either.
BTB for legit, Warzone for boosting.
Yeah I got it pretty quickly just focusing on it in BTB.
Castle wars CTF is a new social playlist 343 just added the other day. It’s perfect for destroying mongooses. I just finished getting my mongoose destroyer commendation a couple hours ago. But you must hurry, the playlist is only for a limited time. And I’m not sure if 343 will add it again in the future.
