Personally, I am burdened by my thicc wallet, so I usually just burn my money.
HAZOP Is Actually $30 USD
The bundle itself is 20$. But to actually use the HAZOP gear you need to acquire the MKVB Armor Core. To actually get the MKVB Core you need the Battlepass which costs 10 USD. Put both together and itās $30 plus tax.

That is generally my point. Our only options are bad.
We do not have the option to return to Reach, and have access to 99.99% of the customization for free.
We are the angels on 343i shoulder, the one that tells them to do the right thing, I get that. However, there is another that 343i listen to. They have different goals in mind. Maybe youāve heard of them?
Frankie dubbed them their corporate overlords years back. For all of the complaints theyāve heard in recent days Microsoft is whispering sweet nothings into their ears, telling them they are proud of them, that they love their money and so on lol.

Iām chill with never having anything for free again as long as the pricing is good, which it isnāt.
I mean this seems like two pretty fair options. I mean sure this poll is going to lean heavily in one direction, but it seems pretty clear that the majority of players think the store is too expensive.
look at the pollā¦ To put this into perspective the collision poll (which was more fair and straightforward) didnāt even have this skew. It heavily implies that its extremely skewed to favor one result.
Iām gonna start a poll where I ask do or do you not like being punched in the face? Which do you believe people would vote for? stupid. Unfortunately for OP this poll is about as impactful as me going to bed on time.
Edit: This poll couldāve been done in any franchise, any game, and it would have resulted the same. It is stupid because the whole value of something like this is to give pollsters two good (or at least fair) choices and it just isnāt that unfortunately. 343i wonāt take it seriously because of how its designed.
I mean, I imagine people would probably mostly vote that they do not like being punched in the face, and the poll would then show, accurately, that most people donāt like being punched in the face. This poll has shown clearly that 76 out of 79 people who chose to vote think that $20 is far too much for an armor set.
The fact that the outcome is predictable or obvious doesnāt invalidate the data. I see a lot of value to having polls like this that 343 can show to microsoft and say āhereās how people on the forums feel about our prices.ā
343 has asked us to keep the feedback coming, this is a great way of doing it. Iām sorry that you donāt like the way the poll is phrased.

The truth here is 343 needs to do what they said they were going to do by stop deliberately ignoring the feedback of the player base calling them out on it so they can milk the players base.
Nothing personal, but there is no solution other than 343 doing right by the player base.
All Iām saying is that we might not see Chonmage again until March. Glad I bought it when I did.

because they are 10$ i have bought 0 of them.
sadly i am a minority apparently because the whales driving this industry. it is so much easier to overlook 20 tiny charges on my bill. but 1 large charge is going to make me question if it was worth it. its literally why they were called MICRO TRANSACTIONS but now 1 armour costs 1/6 of the entire game? come off it.
I wouldnāt pay any price. 343 hasnāt even earned the right to ask anyone for money, seeing how this game is a lot less than half-backed.

Donāt get me wrong, what others do is their choice. I have no issues with that at all.
My thing is looking what was said to be offered with this game and what we got are two totally separate things.
I donāt really care what excuses 343 is giving at the moment, but they had 2 flights, tons of feedback and made promises.
They promised customization to be mostly earned, which is entirely false.
They had 2 flights and for each everyone has been saying āCoating sucks, donāt do itā
In the end they just ignored what the players are saying and decide to push out a product everyone is unhappy with, and they deserve the backlash. You know what? They actually made it worse. They made the core system which just forces you to buy repeated coatings. Itās an actual joke.
Whoever 343/MS has hired to be their āMarketing strategistā, get them fired. ASAP. They will earn you less money than actually having someone who plans for the long haul of generating user satisfaction which in turn encourages them to spend money to support the game.
I donāt think $20 is too much for armour, I think $20 is too much for the armour theyāve shown so far.
