From the sales information I have seen for Halo Infinite, the profit was very substantial. The marketing of this game excited a lot of people, millions. Halo 5’s marketing campaign, everything but the story was closer to being true, Halo Infinite’s pre-game launch marketing was just a straight-up bald-faced lie. Truth be told they may never be trusted again.
That’s probably why this is a ten-year game, they don’t have to con people with a sales pitch for Halo again, they can just coast on drip-feeding content. But, is it true though, that 343 has been working on another Halo spin-off project? If so, is that where all the creative maps and creative content are going.
