<mark>I feel like not enough people realize this and are just blindly following what people are saying to “soothe” those who are frustrated by the inclusion of these mods. Here, let me just quote a convo:</mark>

What people don’t understand is if what you’re saying is true that it barely impacts gameplay and it’s so subtle that you can’t really see the difference, then what the heck is the point of putting it in the game anyway? That’s like saying if you choose a Jetpack you can’t jump, but when using the Jetpack you can only fly as high (MAYBE a little higher but you can’t notice the subtle difference) as you could if you jumped normally.
If it’s not a big deal and has a “trade-off” like many people are assuming, then it’s obviously just a gimmick to attract ignorant people in because now Halo has “perks” … you see what the bigger problem is here? So in reality, there’s no point in having these mods in the first place since they “barely” impact gameplay. Now on the other hand, if they were to impact gameplay then obviously they’re just be unbalanced and broken, leaving the inclusion of these mods in a lose-lose situation.
Obligatory: “If you haven’t played it you should wait and see.”
Seriously going to keep this one on the clipboard today, you people are out of control with your baseless assumptions about what is and is not in H4, let alone the depth of it’s final implementation.
And also the reason PC> Consoles (but not in price)
For excample, i can create a mod where i can forge IA spawns for Customs, nor i create another where i can customizate the looks of my weapons(colors, not models).
Of course, there could be mods that broken the game, but those would stay in customs, and would never make their way to matchmaking.
Still, there won´t be mods in Halo until the day it goes PC again.

Lets say you have a problem with AA’s in Reach.
Would you still have a problem if you had a playlist which didn’t use AA’s?
“Mods” in H4 should be a non-issue for you since you have no idea at all on how they’re going to be implemented and where.
I take issue with you not treating it as a non-issue.

I have no idea at all how they’re going to be implemented? Louis Wu, amongst some others, were invited to play Halo 4 and described it. These aren’t baseless ideas I’m throwing at you lol

The scorpion - You will see how annoying the scorpion is once you play it
Invincible vehicles- just not all that cool. They could have at least made the vehicles destructible.
The grenades were also too powerful

I thought I should also say that I completely agree with you OP, and it’s the argument I’ve made before. Amusingly enough, I got similar responses. It’s what you get in this forum I’m afraid, logical arguments are pretty rare.
