hey all, i was playing ctf with a friend and when he tried to cap a flag nothing happened…neither one of us knew how to score the flag. is there any requirement or a certain button we missed? we brought the flag back but it wouldnt let us score for some reason. is it a glitch?
sorry for the dumb question but i want to know before i play again as we lost due to this.

Was your flag at home or not?
i do believe it was. will it only work if it is? ( not positive as he was the flag carrier)

i never play it but i wanted to give it a shot. im just unsure about it now
Some gametypes require your flag to be home in order to score.
The map Simplex can be a pain to capture on sometimes because of the raised platform.
It could have been lag. What happened after he ran over the flag base?

That thing is really annoying, especially in Lightning CTF…

There’s not much they can do about that. After all, maps in Multiplayer are based on coordinates, and even if it was based on magnets you can’t magnetize a flag stand. Best thing you can do is try putting a block under it and a slight ramp upwards if you’re too lazy to jump a few feet.
