Honestly with all the complaining and attacks against the mods it is no wonder you always complain about them never saying anything (when they actually do). It seems that whenever a mod posts any kind of reply to the complaints they are instantly accused of giving worthless answers and excuses. Give these guys a break. It must be a living hell to be the guys who come into work and are told to be the forum mods for the day. Have some respect for the guys. Maybe their answers aren’t what you want to hear but attacking them isn’t the answer. Have some tact and respect if you feel the need to criticize them. Can we try and make their jobs a little less dreadful to do?
Being a mod on a forum is simple. Try being a mod for networks. For the record, most website mod and admins are afraid of network admins and mods.
Worth noting - the mods on here don’t work for 343. They re just regular folk like you and me. They’re help to help out on the forums.

Ok didn’t know that, but still, we can show a little decency can’t we.
Oh the Halo forum community has always been like Mos Eisley; the most wretched hive of scum and villainy, just with a rare few good people. I actually respect and admire the amount of restraint that they show, were it me I would rule with an iron fist with a zero tolerance towards misbehavior.
snickerdoodle even said to me in a PM that it’d be nice to just lock the entire Halo 4 section some days. I pretty much agree with her on that.

Well I do my best to help them out, any help they get I would assume they appreciate.

Oh by all means yes. I used to be a moderator for phpBB.com, I feel their pain lol

That would be against website terms and regs. However, if that were to happen, the admins would have to do it, not the mods.
I bet they would want to do that, and sometimes I think they really should. The amount of complaining and lack of respect for anyone on the forums, and anyone who is connected to 343, is ridiculous. There are things I don’t agree with but I don’t lash out and call 343 a bunch of yoinks or anything. I don’t go around like a herald preaching slander on the name of the company and mindlessly attacking every word they ever say.

I wasn’t aware you were intimately familiar with how we operate seeing as how you are not a mod. And heaven forbid we have days where we are fed up and make a joking quip. Bottom line is that we ARE volunteers however the rest of you are not privy to our inner workings and as such, you are making some rather large assumptions, Rojas. I suggest you cease to do so.
Can’t speak for the rest of the crew, but I’m always around, always lurking, always watching. Been posting less and less lately though, focusing on the Infinity Challenge, however. I know that some of the mods have families to spend time with, some are taking classes, personally, I’m in the middle of a battle with immigration to secure full citizenship in Canada and the local Con season is starting soon.

I work in network administration specialized in security purposes. I do the “nasty” work especially working in NYC. lol.
Oh damn, my fault…i just read you are volunteers. I keep thinking im back in working, I yield here.
