This forum has gotten absolutely ridiculous these past few months. I used to be able to come here and have good logical discussions on Halo 4. Then this forum became nothing but people complaining about Halo: Reach. Then with Sprint being revealed in Halo 4, there are at least 10+ threads made a day on how much Sprint is awful. The same thing applies for people complaining about how 343i has ruined Halo.
Any “good” threads get easily lost amongst this loud and obnoxious group.
Mods, please consider doing any of the following.
[/li]- Merge all threads on Sprint into one super thread.
Any threads complaining about 343i ruining Halo or betraying the fans should be considered spam and be deleted immediately with a warning followed by a 7 day ban to the user if another is made.
All threads on how much Halo 4 will suck (without it being even released) should be the same way as threads complaining about 343i.
All “I trust 343” threads that bash ‘haters’ should be removed. Flat-out removed. They don’t contribute anything, and more often than not, they turn into flame-wars.
That’s a bit extreme, yes people should be able to voice their opinions, no they should get banned for doing so. If people are complaining that much about Halo4 simply don’t but it when it comes out

Those threads don’t normally start flame wars. Hate threads normally start flame wars, not to mention 95% of hate threads are mindless babbling vulgarities and conjecture. The I trust 343 threads don’t have great purpose, but they let 343i know that the fans are behind them and hope for the best from them.
I came into this forum to talk about Halo 4. All I see instead is people hating on 343i for something they know little about, hating something that 343i didn’t do (Reach), and countless threads on spam.
With all of these threads about the same exact thing making up the vast majority of this forum, it should be considered spam.

Only threads I see hating are yours. There’s that one “Betrayed by 343i” one, but it isn’t that bad.
You have like 3 threads open trying to start something right now.

What matters is that people think halo reach is a bad game and some of us strongly disapprove of things we have heard about halo 4, and we want people to know how we think about it.
Stop using the excuse “you have barely heard anything about it”. we have heard enough to let people know how we feel about customizable loadouts.
and i have to agree. Stop making these threads.
I have never seen you make one thread about halo 4 actually, only ones about people that hate. We are the good guys here, we have been around for years, and i personally understand video games much better than many people here, having helped designed some/worked on a few myself.
If you think people who’s opinions differ from yours are considered spam, you seriously should find help. And that’s not supposed to be insulting.
Having a differing opinion, keeping yourself calm, and explaining your reasoning with rational and factual arguments is one thing. Screaming “343 HAS RUINED HALO AND HALO 4 IS TERRIBLE BECUASE REACH” is a whole different beast.
Blind hate threads that bring no new viewpoints or intelligent discussion to the table should absolutely be banned.
There is certainly a big difference between hate and an opinion. The mods will lock the thread when needed, if it has a disrespectful tone. But if the OP is voicing their concerns in a comprehensible and nice enough manner, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the thread.
