So today ive seen a few threads locked down by mods. The threads was to complain or inspire to do something about the annoying amount of unconstructive threads. You know what I’m talking about, right.
Whining threads with topics like, which halo is the worst, the update I haven’t tried yet is the worst ever, it’s not like it used to be etc. couldn’t we have a forum for stuff like that? Scrolling thru 10, 20 posts without substance in what should be the main forum for the game seems wrong.
I dont mind mind the criticism from threads with substance, and many even know how to criticize without having it sound like hate, and I love that. That usually kicks off a real discussion.
any thoughts on how to solve this, or should I just continue to ignore? (If it doesn’t get locked)

MODS! They know what you’re up too!!! Lock this thread and ban them for life so they don’t release your secret!!! It’d be like real life HTT…
In all seriousness, they lock threads that are non-constructive, where users are (meanly) roasting other users, and spam/trolls. There’s more but those are just the ones I could think of. If you look at the locked threads, they probably fall under one of these categories.
im going to go out on a limb, but im almost certain most of those none constructive post the mods lock down are because us as members are reporting the thread for certain reasons, not just cause they feel like they are god

Ya that might be it, I feel the mods are actually doing a really good job of keeping the tone clean. And I can understand they are probably also frustrated about threads like that. Just feel like there ought to be a “I hate halo5 no matter what” forum, where these guys can support each other in their mutual hate and talk about the good ol days.

but really im fine with criticism good and bad, just those negative post have to be monitored oh so carefully cause most -Yoink- talking, and stat blasting and what not happens there, so thats prob why they get locked down quicker
