Why have a moderator column in the index if every row is going to say the same thing? Seems like a waste of space to me and useless clutter.
I think it’s a built-in function of the software. Yes, it bugs me too.

I think so, because I know TSL’s forums’ software doesn’t display that.

I think it’s set up like that because in theory you can assign specific mods to certain sections and that column is to identify who gets what section.

I remember a forum board I use to lurk had that, and they had certain moderators/members who was in charge of certain forum boards and it’s child boards, but out side of those forum boards, they had normal mod powers if they was already mods on the general forums, or they was plain members out side their forum board.
It can be disabled, I know that, one day it just appeared out of the blue and it hasn’t gone away since, not exactly sure why WaypointWeb is on there because as of the 7th, they won’t have been online for two months.
