So yesterday, my friend and I played Halo together for the first time since 343 took it over. My god, were we pissed. We went with H3 Duos and it went fine for the first two rounds. After that, almost every match had someone with some type of lag switch, aim bot, or wall hack. They usually only had around 20-40 Gamerscore and we later found out that its because people make new accounts, mod them and boost their rank super high, then they sell the account before it gets banned…Ridiculous, I love Halo and have consumed almost every form of media it comes it but this is too much. I’ll be back when 343 gets it together.
If you think someone is manipulating the game in their favour, then you can submit a ticket over at the Support Website with any evidence you have. Someone will then look into it.
As noted above, OP, reporting accounts you think may be cheating is the best course of action to take here.
Worth noting that currently there is no way to modify the game on Xbox, so if you are playing on Xbox you won’t be running into people cheating in that manner. On PC there are anti-cheat measures which should prevent most forms of modding and cheating
