They are modding their armor color and there chest piece.
I noticed it in a game 343i and I asked how they did that and they redirected me to a website
Notice they have many people on there who have done the things I described.
I dont like how some of them got chest pieces that normal users cant get with grenade belts missing. And they also have an ultra white armor color which makes you name bar in matchmaking clear so everyone notices.
I have noticed some user who I can give out there gamertags who do these things for you to investigate
Now 343i I hope you can investigate this because in their post on there, they say its not auto-detected and only will get caught if investigated so please 343 investigate these people. Its not fair that other people cant have this unless they break the rules. And please do not punish me as I am trying to show these people’s wrong doings.
If your in a lobby with them you will see that they have modded chest piece, in example the pre-order chest piece without the grenade belt. Also that variant of white they have is not an official one found in the armory where you edit you player’s color. Also note if you are in a lobby in Matchmaking with them, their backround color that is behind their GTAG and nameplate is permanently clear. The chest piece they have on is only accesible by hex editing you armor as that armor was not in the armory in that state. Also read the post on that se7ensins website next time before you say “They is no evdence of teh modding” When there obviously is

there is no evidence that the people modded in the links you provided, only evidence that people can and are doing it.

I gotta agree. You only linked their bnet accounts, which doesn’t show nor prove anything.

Well I have PMed 343 employees and I have an easy way to make it so people who do this are auto-detected by the banhammer. Also and if you want proof get in a game with them or a party and ask them because they openly brag about it. Also compare your white spartan to theirs in a lobby. Big difference
all you can do is report it from XBL and move on. PM’ing 343 employees and posting here multiple times isn’t going to help anything. they know crap like this happens and will handle it in their own way. they don’t need people posting threads over and over about it getting all huffy about it doesn’t help.
I personally don’t see a problem with what they may be doing, if they aren’t modding in game like flying around the map with aim bots destroying everything that I don’t see a problem.

All they need to do is make they hex value 1E and 1F auto detected when in the armor color spot and whatever the values are for those modded armor pieces and then when detected they get permabanned from Halo Reach Online by Banhammmer
it really doesn’t matter what you think will fix it because it’s not your problem to handle. no one appointed you modder police so, unfortunately, you have to do like the rest of us and just file complaints on the GT on XBL.

nope. it’s against the TOS to use mods to alter anything on your xbox.

Wait… linking to websites that about glitching, cheating, modding, etc. are against the WP forums rules. If I remember quickly. I wish Link were here. He can point in the right direction.
