I heard someone tell me that 343i does not care if people use modded content for Halo: Reach. Is this true? Can anyone tell me officially 343i’s position on this issue?
I cant tell you officially as even i myself do not know, From what i see, downloading and playing “Overlimited maps” Is not banable, Forging and creating On overlimited maps Is not banable (but Highly frowned upon by legit creators) Filesharing and distributing of overlimited maps is still whats on debate Simply because nobody can prove or disprove as of yet, no official word has been given by 343I on either side…That being said if you want to forge on them Noone can say no however filesharing is upon your own descretion, if its any consolation ive been forging and filesharing these types of maps for 5 months, but i understand the risks that are involved, id say if you want to make a map go for it, but remember i cant give you a definitive stance on the subject of filesharing.

That is not true my friend has tried to mod the game but he got banned by them.
