Mobility in halo infinite

Good shooting sensation, but lacks a bit of mobility, slides are almost USELESS and aircontrole is absent
It lacks a diversification of gameplay according to me.
example: on bf there are soldier classes, on apex there are different characters.
On halo there are skills to pick up, but they lack of originality: invisibility, armor we all know if we have already played the previous Halo, the grapple is the big novelty however it’s the only one…
Hologram, side dodges, jetpack, halo reinforcement from reach, all missing.
To energize the game, I hope that they did not rely only on the grapple( it is very effective but if everyone plays grapple, its originality will again lack).

Apart from the rather disappointing mobility, it gave some good vibes, the weapons are nice, the sound too, but in my opinion, mobility and skills should have been the strong point of this new opus.

I have argued for thrusters to be implemented as a static default. They gave that freedom of mobility. I can agree with removal of the charge and ground pound aspects of it as long as the basic thruster from 5 is there. Same button and slot as equipment like grapple or wall but as soon as the charges of those are gone you default back to the thrusters again. This at least creates a balance effect on a multitude of fronts.

Are you talking about class loadout?

If we get thrusters back as default then the game would have to raise the bullet magnetism again…and then we’d all be mastering broken guns…like the halo 5 sniper…that thing is RIDICULOUSLY easy to get no scopes with. The magnum of 5, you could aim with the outer edge of the reticle (amy weapon for that matter). I think it’s way better as a map pick up. I loved playing 5 and even made a thread some time ago about how bad I thought it would feel to not have thrusters…and if it were a map pick up that it would feel bad as the player who doesn’t have it because we’re coming from a game where it was there on our spawn at all times.

The mobility and skill jumps of 5 were amazing. The raw power 1 player can have to turn a 2v1 on it’s head was pretty amazing, but some of the fundamentals got thrown out the window with all of that, and I believe that’s where a lot of players cut off from the franchise. So I think it’s for the better that the thrusters remain as a map pick up.

Bringing back other equipment, like what OP is saying…well that’s worth diving into. There were other Spartan abilities that could work as equipment, and hopefully more original ideas to come.

I dont like the slide. It’s really clunky and only really useful for that tech where you slide of edges and jump.
Its really awkward when I try to slide down a hill and completely lose all momentum within 5 feet and it’s really annoying that you can’t reload while sliding.
I’m not saying to copy Apex’s slide but… No I am saying copy Apex’s slide.

As for thrusters, yeah I think they would be good equipment, not part of the core abilities.
